More Info:
I got this bike for free from an older gentleman that is repairing old bikes and selling them. I traded some stuff for it. It is a work in progress as the front tire needs replacing or a 27" road bike rim/ tire needs to replace the current part. I call it the "Breaking Away" bike since it is a simple basic bike something like the one used at the end of the movie of the same name. It makes for a very simple communter machine.
I changed over the front wheel, tire to a far better tire for riding on. The seat has been changed over to a far better one as well.

Current Stage Info:
The donor bike that supplied the nut for the found road bike also gave up it's handle bar on this bike. I am just experimenting to see how it feels. So far it is working OK.
