2012 Old CCM Roadster

An old bike I found in a junkyard near my home. My dad had a bike that looked a lot like this one.

Frame:
Mens style CCM 1940s/ 1950s era design. I asked about the age of the bike and it is 1959 or later model. The basic design dates to earlier times though.

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Single piece forged crank arm with CCM logo on the gear set.

Pedals:
Old multi-piece rubber types pedals.

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Old rusted chain was oiled back to life. A few rollerbearings on the chain have cracked. A new chain has been put on to replace the old rusted one. It runs much better now.

Derailleurs/Shifters:
None

Saddle/Seatpost:
Steel seat post with a spring design Fltye saddle.

Brakes:
CCM Made in Canada Coaster Brake.

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
28 by 1.5" tire on a F13 rim, The tires are old and cracked but are holding the inner tube in place still. The spokes are very rusted but still have some strength to them.

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
28 by 1.5" tire on a F13 rim,

Accessories:
None

CCm bikes go back to 1899. The basic style of the I found goes back to the 1940's. There are detail differences but the base frame geometry is the same
