Thanks, I really miss it and i'm sad I had to sell. But being a senior in highschool, telling chicks you drive to school sounds a lot better then telling them you ride a bike. Might try and find another one.

Thanks! Was originally planning on getting a CAAD 10 but realized I'm a kid with a minimum wage part time job and that goal didn't seem too realistic and it would take forever to finish. So I decided since I love the ride of my Saeco(stiff, great handling for a frame it's age) so much that i'm gonna build it back up with a modern group.

I think this is a cooler build then the run of the mill Caad 10

Btw looks great so far. How do those bars feel? I'm thinking of trying them.

The top section is flat like the mash bullhorns, great if you have big hands or don't like regular round bars.

I love it! Don't think i'm ever gonna sell. It rides amazing for a 14 year old AL frame. It feels extremely similar to the modern Cannondales i've ridden. Only changes I can think of are going 10 speed and maybe going threadless. Gonna take better pictures this weekend so check back soon!

Check out the Ritchey carbon fork on my CAAD4. It really helps smooth out the front end. Not much you can do to unstiffen an aluminum frame, though. Get shorts with extra padding...

Thanks for the advice, and you were right this thing is crazy stiff. Compared to this my previous trek felt like steel. Right now i'm debating if I should upgrade and race this or buy CAAD 10. I can't remember the last time I owned a brand new bike.

you deserve a massage and kudos too.awesome bike, why the fat tires? Is this an old team bike or a replica? enjoy

adrian13346

adrian13346 says:

The tires were from my previous build, but they aren't that big just 25's. This frame is a lot stiffer/harsher so i'll see how it feels on longer rides and maybe go smaller. The previous owner said it was a team bike but I don't know if it's true or not.
