Picked this up less than a mile from where it was made from an 84 year old who bought it from the velodrome 6/7 years ago, with a matching set of wheels with larger cogs. Looks like it has been refinished at some point - still trying to find out information on the history, but seatpost, chain and possibly headset look to be the only non-original componenets. Seems to be spaced for 100 front / 110 rear, trying to establish if this is factory spec. Grateful for any info on this!

and comparing my '71 with yours it's interesting that Flying Scot used the same unique curved in wrap around seat stays. Also our fork crowns are near identical but mine was never drilled.

This is a stunning Flying Scot! The purple color is fabulous! My Flying Scot track is 1971 - bought it in 1981 and still ride it (baby blue color)
