I would've held onto this. Cinelli Super Pistas are beautiful, but they're still in production today. Merckx pistas are definitely not as common.

true, but the sc pista I have now is completely different from the more modern ones. the older cinelli's aren't as common these days either. especially the one I have.

Of course... But i dont have enough money :'( and I have 2 other bikes I'm trying to finish right now. Just curious, is the bb a c-record with aluminum cups but steel races pressed in? I have one and I don't know what size loose ball bearings it uses. What's the other frame?

Ahh, I completely understand. Well, if you're still interested and manage to get the funds for it, it's there if you want it ;) The bb is a record I believe. I repacked it recently, but noticed it had a hollow spindle. Not sure what that signifies. I think all campy pista bb's generally use the same size for loose ball bearings. I forgot what dimensions those were exactly though. But the frame I'm getting now is an '83 Cinelli SC pista. One of my dreams finally came true!

Wow, those frame are amazing! White and red are my favorite color for those. If a miracle happens and I have enough money I will let you know!
