1988 schwinn traveler

My first fixed gear build. Total came in under $300 . Thinking about some old school bull moose mtb bars, what's everyone think about that???

Frame:
62cm double butted cro mo

Fork/Headset:
Hi ten

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Sakae sx, flipped the spindle 180 degrees to bring the chainring closer to the frame

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
46t/17t

Handlebars/Stem:
Some crazy cheap ebay carbon riser(scary) gb stem drilled to accept recessed nut stem bolt . Bontrager race grips

Saddle/Seatpost:
Tioga spyder/ Kalloy uno

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Velocity deep v / IRO hub / double butted spokes/ bontrager cx0 38c

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Velocity deep v / IRO hub double butted spokes / ritchey speedmax 40c

More Info:
Found the bike on Craigslist in rough shape for $40 .Cleaned the frame up , shaved all braze ons, and filled holes with epoxy putty . It's painted with appliance epoxy. After fitting some 25c tires I realized it looked awful with the huge tire clearance , so I stuffed some 40mm tires in there. Turns out most old road bikes built with 27in wheels can fit up to 42mm tires! Foot retention is on the way

thanks! yup, I placed aesthetics over all else on this one, but it still turned out to be a fun ride. Still getting used to the brakeless setup though
