I PURCHASED THIS FRAME ON EBAY FOR $65 ORIGINALLY IT WAS WHITE AND RED WITH STANDARD SPECIALIZE DECALS IMMEDIATELY I KNEW SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THIS BEAUTIFUL FRAME. IT WAS FLAWLESS IN EVERY WAY OTHER THAN THE PAINT SO I CUT LOOSE AND WENT STEALTH BLACK ADDED BRUSHED STAINLESS DECALS FOR THAT FINISHING TOUCH TO TIE IT ALL TOGETHER WITH THE NEW 11-SPEED 105 GROUP

This is an incredible build! I just bought a 1988 Sirrus - the pearl white, pink, and aqua one. I, too, am planning 105 11 speed. How was fitting the rear hub? Cold set? What size tires do you have? I'll post mine soon.

doc says:
the largest you can go is a set of 23C tires
when these bikes were raced back in the day,
18C was the way to go you might get a 25C depending on the maker. The rear triangle will allow you to spread the geometry to allow the wider wheel in there. I have done the same with a 1988 TEAM edition SIRRUS I have yet to post

Thanks for responding. What size is your frame? I got the 61cm. I was shopping for 105 5800 groupsets when you responded.
