its the only way to have such a short seat tube, while still using 700c wheels. it also makes it even stiffer, but i don't think they knew that yet in the 90's :]

This was on eBay for quite some time, right? You've made it look a hell of a lot better than it did when it was on eBay. You should take a link out of your chain and slam that rear wheel! It would make a huge difference!

I did not get it off of eBay and thanks! I hope I did, and yeah the chain thing, I will I was to impatient to get it fixed so I threw whatever I had on it.
