Yeah 7000 series aluminum tends to be more brittle. Most manufacturers today use 6000 series because the weight savings isn't worth the frames cracking.

Yeah it’s crazy light. I rode it a few times single speed with big old Moto bars for a while before I knew it was cracked, holy shit that bike was quick.
