C'est tres jolie. It must be even more stiff on the racing wheels.

I don't know, I used them only once for the championship and I wasn't paying much attention on this. I am racing next Friday and I am sure I won't have the time to monitor the stiffness of the wheels as I am going to focus on pushing down the pedals as hard as I can.

... i'm very satisfied with the ellipse wheelset... it's cheap, stiff and durable... i'm not racing at the velodrome on a regular basis (track is closed during october till end of march here) but they do a wonderful job in little sprints on the street and the velodrome... even professional riders around here are seen with ellipses and not full carbon wheelsets...

Thanks for your insights. I' m surely looking for ellipses. Thx.

This thing looks like its a blast to ride. Super sharp, with that steer tube. I don't ride fixed on the street but would love to get in a velodrome especially on that LOOK. Where is this may I ask?

This is at the Bordeaux' Velodrome (Southwest of France). The bike is super stiff. Plus with the new stem and carbon handlebar, I feel it is stiffer than ever. I will take more pics tonight as I am riding.
