what did you put on the handlebar drops where it gets clamped? looks like duct-tape?
so sad you got rid of this bike. my Raleigh Team Carbon was like its cousin, lol

WHY YOU SELLING THIS?
Posted about 12 years ago
I need $ to finish the for3 and the roadie :( I really hate to see it go though.
Posted about 12 years ago
-.- SMH. but i guess. time for a broakland ;D dude i am so getting a cross next. omg.
Posted about 12 years ago
Whatever I replace this with down the road with will be steel, thinking a colossi. What happened to that cross concept you were gonna pick up?
Posted about 12 years ago
Haha, that sucks that thing was sick... It'd fit me... A Cross bike is on my list for sure, maybe next year.

How do you like the TB14's so far?
Posted over 12 years ago
Also, the yellow valve stem caps look great with this frame! Good job!
Posted over 12 years ago
I have nothing but good things to say about them, they're strong, reasonably light, and look awsome. So a really good well rounder.
Posted over 12 years ago
Thats exactly how I feel about mine too! Cornering feels alot more stable compared to other rims that I've rode.
Posted over 12 years ago
Yeah I like the wide rim, feels nice. I run 25c tires right now but after these wear out I'm going to put 23c tires on them.
Posted over 12 years ago
How are those Time ATAC pedals? I've been looking to get some spd pedals and mountain shoes, but I fear hot spots.
Posted over 12 years ago
They're great and they feel really secure. I much prefer the time atacs to shimanos spd pedals, no issues with hotspots so far.

was this bike and you ever in san diego?
Posted over 12 years ago
maybe she snuck out one night but as far as I know nope. I wish though

Im kind off speechless, didnt know it was gonna look this good!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Ha thanks. I love the TB14s but I still gotta cut the super stack on top. It'll look much nicer without it.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Hey noticed this frame is just as heavy as the newest RHP? I held the Macaframa a recently and the tubing isnt as massive and minus gussets its still heavy as fuckkkk
Posted almost 13 years ago
I noticed that too with my 2010 one. Also it has a carbon steel fork and not a carbon alloy :O I could probably drop a pound if I just swaped forks. Im still confused why this one is lighter.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Cause this model is the best one!!
Man I wish mine was 16 pounds. Mine is about 19 with my 36h wheels
Posted almost 13 years ago
Hmmm I wonder how much the new wheelset will weigh? Do you have any toe over lap with yours? Mine doesn't have any, well just a tiny bit but I've never touched it. Even with a 46.5 shoe!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Those H+son rims are pretty heavy but still will be lighter than mine!
I have a little overlap nothing major but I never noticed.
Posted almost 13 years ago
They're just over a pound each. They have an almost wood grain texture to them, you can kinda tell in the picture. It's really nice though.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Damn Mavic Open pros are lighter. But given my spoke count and heavy hubs yours will be lighter overall
Posted almost 13 years ago
love your bike man !!
Posted almost 13 years ago
I should have the TB14s laced to the hubs in a few days , 3-5 if im lucky. I'll post a piture of the rims tomorrow though.
Posted almost 13 years ago
i love this frame!! i would consider buying if i came across one
Dope!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Aww yeah we are bike sisters!
Posted almost 13 years ago
I also feel you about dirt magnets. The paint on this gets dirty and stays dirty. My bb area is hella dirty from installing the bb and I cannot get it off
Posted almost 13 years ago
An we're almost gonna be twins when I get the other wheel set in but it'll be black. I use an xacto knife to get the dirt in the welds out and the gussets but I hate doing it knowing I could scratch it.
Posted almost 13 years ago
The Reynolds for the mavics to phils? I think i have a buyer for them... Well its more of a trade since the guys works at a shop and he said I could order anything from the shop that is equal to the price (his price) of the Reynolds. So...
Posted almost 13 years ago
We got the same frame, saddle, stem, cranks, tires lol Yeah I just forget about it, a nice wipe down time to time will do other than that I just dont care. As of wheel trade I doubt Ill even go through with it unless it was a local swap lol
Posted almost 13 years ago
And bb. I hate shipping large things, ever since ups wanted 400 to ship the 2010 RHP to Malaysia
Posted almost 13 years ago
We were both like holy shit =0 and knew it wasn't gonna happen. I have a buyer for it though so that's gonna kick off my road bike build.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Right now I'm trying to see if the guy that wants the wheels if he could order me a groupo at his price and subtract whatever we settle on the wheels ill give him the rest. So thats the plan and then for a frame whatever I find.
Posted almost 13 years ago
I really want to try out sram, I have ridden 105/ultegra setup and I just didn't like it to much. So I hope i like sram better... I mean I REALLY REALLY want campy stuff but dam its $$. Im also pretty sure im going to get a pair of ksyrium elites for wheels and probaly fsa or deda cockpit. Not sure on saddle though.
Posted almost 13 years ago
I like SRAM alot and loved the double tap. When I got Shimano last minute I had to get used to the STI shifting -__-
+1 Mavic Ksyriums awesome wheels.
Campy is $$$$$ eventually Id get but my friend has alot of issues cause if things break or need replace it needs to be campy or it wont work like the cables and such
Posted almost 13 years ago
I need to test ride a sram group set. I'm trying to get it done before summer so I can ride it though the whole summer and not waste any time haha. I should probably get a frame before a group but since I can (probably) be safe with getting an English threaded bb and a braze on fd I don't see why not. That's onlys if I can get it though the guy though.
Posted almost 13 years ago
deff try it out before buying. STI to sram double tap is really something to get used to. I personally really liked sram so future Ill get into it.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Out of all the road bikes I've ridden (mostly low end) the one I liked the most was a 70ish bianchi with full campy parts. I the first time I rode it when I shifted I was like wtf it dosent work then I look back and it did work it was just so smooth. It was only a 5 speed and i can't remember if it was a double or triple. I think double? Well I'm pretty sure my brother has it now but not sure.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Campy is real nice I love how it snaps into the gears and how loud the hub is when you cost. Only thing like I said about campy is you need t service often and replacement parts are $$$
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yeah we should stop talking about campy before I force myself to buy a chorus group.

Posted almost 13 years ago
I might leave a bit on top just in case. Right now it has a little more than 1.5in so ill probably leave enough for a 10mm spacer on top
