so you finally completed it. nicely done! not a big fan of that bartape, bu it fits the frame.

... yep, thx... this basic set up took me a while...
... the bartape works ok for me as i wear gloves always 'cause the skin of my palms tends to rip... annoying but i had like 25 years to get used to that shit...^^

Geometry doesn't look as tight as a Ridley... hm....
Posted almost 11 years ago
... if you speaking of the current oval frames that's true... just heard rumors about the origin saying they repaint ridleys and this frame might be an older model... the geometry is pretty tight compared to it's height actually... wheelstand is 97cm which is just 1cm more as my 53cm pelizzoli...

Prob will look tighter if he use > 25mm tyre. Still, such a great find. Nice frame. Go finish the build A.S.A.P !

... this wheelset is made to be used on concrete tracks only featuring 22mm tubulars... the only missing parts now are the dura-ace BB (ITA is hard to get these days) which should have been delivered the week before (grr) and a decent chain... believe me i can't hardly wait to do a little test drive in the street...

... you were right, azn... the frame was made at the merckx factory...

this is a large frame。 i thought you ride 53cm?
Posted almost 11 years ago
... it's a 54,5cm from center to center... it appears larger than it is... and yes, i go for 53cm usually...
