It's hard to tell but does the frame have a horizontal top tube or is it slightly angled down.

hed3's are extremely light so you will be flying with one lol.. just be carful with it on windy days. have you checked out chub hubs or philwood hubs.

Yeah, I'll keep my other wheels handy just in case it's too windy.. And yeah! I was looking at Phil hubs specifically. I also checked out Victoire hubs (have a cool spline interface for cogs)... but they seem almost impossible to get ahold of in the states :/
