I want a Mercier just as a beater, but nice dude!
Posted almost 11 years ago
DO IT! It's really great as a beater. I hope to build it back up as such.

That wound up! :D

Prolly later today. Took pictures yesterday, but have been so busy.

It has a rake of 40 mm. I know there's the track standard (35) and then there's 43 and 45 mm.

It's changed a bit since these pictures. Will have to post some new ones before I switch everything over to something new.

what made you want to slap some brakes on?
only noticed because you were riding brakeless with the bare knuckle and this for the longest
Posted over 11 years ago
No, I have rode clipless without brakes for a while. But since my recent accident (on Arpil 2nd), I figured I would get some brakes in an emergency and to ease up on my legs. Actually, the accident is a bit ironic.

Normally on April Fool's, I would call into work and joke about how I got hit on my bike and can't work today. But I didn't do that this year and I got hit on my bike the next day.

wow, thats definitely ironic then. sorry to hear that. did you damage your bicycle?
& maybe you should stick to all tradition from now on. haha

Is that a popwar sticker?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Ah, ok. Well, sick bikes anyway. I really like your set ups. Popwar used to be my favorite skateboarding company back in the day.

Thank you. I need to change a few things on each bike and build another for my girlfriend.

the car on the left looks like it would get you where you want to go

Jeep Wrangler is not mine, but I did drive it to work today. Need to put my other bike together so my friend and I can ride.

would look even better with a threaded headset/and quill stem :)
Posted over 12 years ago
It did have a threaded headset and quill stem, but it was a bitch changing bars. My Kilo is about to retire.

Why don't you break you chain? o.o
Posted almost 13 years ago
I was just testing the gear ratio to see if I like it enough to buy a chain tool, but I'm not too sure.

How are the lizards?
Posted almost 13 years ago
They are very comfortable. 2.5 bar tape is pretty thick and very comforting on long rides.
