I picked up this tt bike in hopes to emulate a purple Fuji track pro I had seen on this site. I did my usually flat bar and 1x conversion and had plan to strip and repaint in a bold color. I rode it around for a couple hundred miles, but I the end decided I didn't much like it. Looked pretty cool. Very aggressive and low in the front. Cool tube shapes and chainstay under mounted rear brake.

Im thinking it is the TT.. its too short. I once did a flat bar/drop bar on a Felt IA, and i did not like it too.

longer stem?

It was very short! That's why the 130 and slammed. The tt geometry threw me off, just wasn't what I was going for. I was trying for a modern aero bike mixed with a track/fixie vibe, but I don't have that kind of money. The seat tube angle was weirdly sharp and head tube slack.

you can get stems till 200mm and a dropbar would change the bike in length and more to the modern aero bike track vibe you aimed for. But that's just my opinion. It sound like you gave up just because of stem length.

Nothing over 130 for me, but maybe the drop bar idea. I'll probably hold on to frame until Craigslist finds me some 5800 or above shifters.
