where did you get that Dolan without sloping? O_o
or is this only some photo tricks you did? :)
p.s.: nice set up!
Posted over 10 years ago
Top tube sloped a little actually. I would've ordered it one size smaller. I got it from dpm sports online.
Posted over 10 years ago
Clean and simple, have you thought about going clipless?
Posted over 10 years ago
Yeah but I don't ride long distances enough to justify getting them. I actually just got rid of it. The components will go on my pista concept.
Posted over 10 years ago
Nice bike man! This goes into favorites.
Posted almost 11 years ago
Thanks dude, I favorited your Planet X as well haha. Great taste.
Posted almost 11 years ago
Thans man, I'm taking some new pics soon though. That pic is both crap and old.
Posted almost 11 years ago
Sick ride man, looks mean!
Posted almost 11 years ago
Thanks dude. I think my components would look even better on the psx if I can find it
Posted almost 11 years ago
Your bike is like...perfect. Every choice you made, every component, the bars, the angle of the bars, the stealth, everything is well thought out. I definitely agree with the large chainrings. I'll probably do 54T next.
Posted almost 11 years ago
Thanks zippy, those are truly kind words. It's pretty damn close to a dream bike. I'd like to try out some carbon wheels or find a decent priced tri spoke/ 5 spoke front wheel.
Posted almost 11 years ago
You might like the carbona 5 spoke track wheels. You can get the identical prototypes on alibaba.com for 1/2 price.
Posted almost 11 years ago
Dope bike! I love the ratio. I ride the same (46-15) but these bigger chainring and cog look cool.
Posted almost 11 years ago
nicest dolan around
Posted about 11 years ago
Thanks man, love your raw// build. It definitely looks as nice as a low. I couldn't justify spending that type of cash on a street bike either.
Posted about 11 years ago
Thanks man, always amaze me when I think the whole bike is cheaper than a low frame alone. I'm thinking about getting a dolan, how does it handle ?
Posted about 11 years ago
It's pretty solid for a lower grade aluminum frame. Stiff enough for daily riding. Can't go wrong for the price.
Posted about 11 years ago
this is by far the raddest build i have ever seen! everything about this is so killer!
Posted about 11 years ago
Thanks, much appreciated. You got a good looking lv1 on your hands as well.
Posted about 11 years ago
thanks man actually just upgraded to the aventon mataro so i'm stoked!
Posted about 11 years ago
nice pre cursa lol i keep seeing all your comments on every bike i look at XD
Posted over 11 years ago
Hey man, i love your bike im thinking about purchasing this frame set from dpmsports.com im just hoping i dont get one with the slop cause i honestly dont like the look of TT slopes
Posted over 11 years ago
Well it is a great possibility. I ordered my bike from there and wasn't expecting the TT to slope so I just stuck with it. Good luck with your purchase.
Posted over 11 years ago
Does yours have the TT slope? if it does i cant tell... either way i like the frame and for the price of what it comes with you cant really beat it. Thanks for the support
Posted over 11 years ago
Oh and how is your saddle? im debating between the Selle San Marco Zoncolan and the Fizik Airone
Posted over 11 years ago
Yeah you can tell in the drive side picture at the bottom with the fender. It's a similar slope to the mash frame.
Posted over 11 years ago
oooh it has down slope towards the stem like a pursuit style i love that look i hate when the slop is downwards toward the seat tube
Posted over 11 years ago
Yeah me too. I'm not sure if it depends on the size. I guess it's part of the risk.
Posted over 11 years ago
Well im getting a 58cm due to me being 6'2.5'' and how do you like your seat? if you could get a Fizik Airone would you?
Posted over 11 years ago
I really enjoy my saddle and I'm a fan of the arione aesthetically but I've never ridden one. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
Posted over 11 years ago
Okay thanks so much for the help and sorry for the question bombing
hope your Dolan stays fresh! and love the sweater!
Posted over 11 years ago
No problem at all. I'm looking forward to your build and I'm sure it will be a masterpiece.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks for the support man! ordered my frame set yesterday, should be here around Thursday.. Ill keep you posted!
Posted over 11 years ago
Frame is in! and its everything i wanted
Thank you so much for the help and advice
Posted over 11 years ago
That's exciting news! I'm really happy it worked out. Do you already have spare parts to build it with?
Posted over 11 years ago
Yeah i have a
Velocity Razor /Formula FW
Velocity Deep v /All City Track RW
Truvativ Hussefelt risers
Truvativ Stem
All City Track cranks to put on it for now just need a seat
Posted over 11 years ago
fresh! i love this frameset.. i'm thinking to buy one to riding in street
Posted over 11 years ago
Thinks man. It definitely holds up to street abuse. I totally recommend it. You have an awesome stable of bikes.
Posted over 11 years ago
hell! thats a hug chainring bro
Posted over 11 years ago
Haha yeah but the 17t cog makes it easier. I may even gear down to an 18t to go easy on my legs.
Posted over 11 years ago
also nice alpina! How light is your bike?
Posted over 11 years ago
Thank you! And I'm not sure on the weight. I've never actually put it on a scale. I'm pretty sure my wheels add to the majority of the the weight but I can't see myself investing in anything nicer yet.
Posted over 11 years ago
Hella clean bro, I was thinking about getting an Unknown Lv1 frame for 185 from city grounds, but i really want to get this frame now, 350 for it plus headset, fork, and seatpost is hella good.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks dude and its definitely one of the better deals around. I was also looking at both the lv1 and lv2 before buying it. All the spare components make a difference on a budget. Totally worth the money.
Posted over 11 years ago
Love the new look !
was there anything else you wanted to change ?
Posted over 11 years ago
I eventually wanted to throw some risers and a basket on it for groceries. I don't ride enough to utilize a new wheelset yet.
Posted over 11 years ago
Clean. All this talk of "all black" reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36rikVg...
Posted over 11 years ago
i love this bike and i agree with u and a few others all black bikes are straight amazing. my cinelli has some blue on it but i still went for the mostly black look. im actually debating trading my sram s80 and aerohead laced to phil hub for a set of archetypes laced to phils. idk if i should do it or not my sets worth way more. i just think theyd look amazing on my histo
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks man, your histogram is pretty sweet as is but I'll admit that I really like the set of archetypes on in as well especially with the compact drops if you do get some. You could just get a front aerohead too. Reminds me of this http://www.pedalroom.com/bike/histogram...
Posted over 11 years ago
Dope AF
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks dude, your leader is the tits! Inspires me to get one... Murdered out of course lol if you ever cruise through long beach let me know. It would be my pleasure to ride with you.
Posted over 11 years ago
Beautiful! reminds me of my Bianchi haha. How are the LTP43's? Feel the same as B43's? Would you recommend them? *sorry for the question bomb im like looking to buy a pair haha.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thank you and no worries about the question bombing lol. The LTP43's are solid. I've never ridden b43's, only the deep v from velocity but I would suggest them if you're on a budget but still want a deeper rim that is durable. I've had no problems with the origin8 hub and the rims are practically identical to the b43, probably just as heavy.
Posted over 11 years ago
I like it, I kinda want a Pre Cursa too for my street fixed... n+1 right? My stable is at 4 already LOL
Posted over 11 years ago
Totally! I want to buy a track champ for velodrome use in the future but this bike works as my daily commuter.
Posted over 11 years ago
Popular track frames don't like Leader,Cinelli , Bianchi etc. the toe clip is just really close
Posted over 11 years ago
Gotcha! The overlap isn't too bad on my particular frame. I'm comfortable on it but I do advise watching for turns in traffic and at really slow speeds. Hopefully that helps. Ride safe!
Posted over 11 years ago
I'm planning on getting one but i just found out it has a toe overlap. How do you deal with it?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Every track bike has toe overlap and that's no secret at all. The only advice is to be aware of your pedal strikes, especially when riding at slow speeds and don't try to make crazy sharp turns or you will fall.
Posted over 11 years ago
looks awesome with zoncolan
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks man. I'm glad I stuck with it. I think it fits pretty nicely.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Hay J , i really want that dolan pre-cursa Sooooo Bad ! i'm gonna stole from ya !! LOL xD
Posted almost 12 years ago
LOL, hmm how tall are you? 170cm or 180cm? because want to buy 2nd 56cm dolan pre cursa but i am quietly 170cm, and what about the geometry?, bad or great?
Posted almost 12 years ago
I'm about 173cm. I would definitely suggest a 54cm bike for you. I got the 56cm for myself since I switched to a shorter stem but my last bike was a 54cm with 110mm stem. The geometry on this bike was unexpected with its slightly sloping top tube which I'm assuming is gonna be different from other dolanprecursa over seas. This bike is a little big but still comfortable.
Posted almost 12 years ago
hey J, how are youu????!!, hope you still great.. just wanna to say hello, and keep watchin' on my page ya?, your 56cm DOLAN PRE CURSA stolen by my hand soon LOL !! look at my page soon yaaa... keep ridin' !
Posted over 11 years ago
Nice upgrades on your components! That zonoclan is madd dope!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks man. I was honestly torn between the zoncolan and the concor saddle. I still might get it for a future build. Your 2.0 turned out great!
Posted almost 12 years ago
nice bike dude! how do you like that frame? is it good? I'm considering to grab a new frame soon, since my 722ts is broken
Posted almost 12 years ago
It's super solid for the price. I was on a a budget at the time and didn't want to spend over $500 for a frameset. Pretty comfortable for a lower end aluminum frame and durable for street riding.
Posted almost 12 years ago
dude this one is great. love the latest setup. btw, is the zoncolan saddle can't be leveled?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thank you and yeah it can be leveled out. I just recently changed the angle but its a little tricky to get when it's pushed pass the maximum along the rails. Gotta do the hold and tighten maneuver a few times.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Dude this is unreal! you're geometry looks different to mine on my pre cursa! your top tube seems to slope towards the front whereas mine is slightly towards the rear.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah it totally slopes like a pursuit geometry. I didn't notice it in the picture before I bought it but its pretty comfortable especially for having track drops. You have any pictures of yours?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Awesome just got even better. Love the new setup. And sexy pictures. How is to Zoncolan? Any good? Comfy?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thank you! I absolutely love the zoncolan. It's really comfortable and has a lot a space to move around on whether I'm up on the nose or resting on the back. I'm just hoping to invest in some lighter wheels in the future and I'll probably gear down for longer rides.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Liking the new setup mate. Actually just got me a track champ and put a blackspire chainring on it myself and love it. Had the pre cursa first and loved every minute of it DOLAN is def my fav bike brand. Cheers
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks Matty, I've definitely become a huge Dolan fan since I bought this and I'm still hoping to own a track champ on the future. Your track champ turned out great btw.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Liking all the new upgrades! A 3T Stealth stem would look so sick on this build :). Deffinetly one of my favorite murdered out bikes.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thank you. I totally agree with you on a 3T stem but I've been eager to find a new front wheel. Preferably a carbon clincher.
Posted almost 12 years ago
http://www.leoncycles.com/BLB-Notorious..., heard good things about these and could build it up with any hub of your choice but theres always these of course http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SRAM-S80-Cl...
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah I was actually considering the s80 and that blb would be expensive with shipping. Have you heard anything about http://www.yoeleo.com/wheels/track.html
Posted almost 12 years ago
Why would the BLB shipping be expensive? Leon cycles is out of CA. I have never heard of those, and if i was going with Carbon i probably would spend the money on something thats legit, but idk have you seen any reviews of them?
Posted almost 12 years ago
I thought blb were from the UK. The other company supposedly is a small company that's legit in china. The wheels are their brand, not knock off.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I would go with them then, the fact you will be getting novatec hubs thrown in is nice!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Nice upgrades, the saddle especially is killing it!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thank you. It was the essential part of my build that i needed to change from my last bike. I finally committed to a saddle after long debate.
Posted almost 12 years ago
nice !!!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thank you. I've been a fan of your track champ for a while. I'm still bummed I haven't found one in my size lol.
Posted almost 12 years ago
U gotta take pics for me!!
Posted almost 12 years ago
For sure. My girlfriend actually did for me. Just give me a time and place and we can make it happen. Get a whole group shot too!
Posted almost 12 years ago
It's about time!!! Sick. The new saddle looks awesome. How's it feel?
Posted almost 12 years ago
I absolutely love it! Has a lot of room in sprinting position and works with my body better than my origin8. I'm stoked on it. Now I just want to invest in a new front wheel. I was thinking of the s80.
Posted almost 12 years ago
awesome! love the stealth theme!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks dude. Your dolan is sweet as well. I'm hoping to add a carbon front wheel eventually to make it an even nicer ride.
Posted almost 12 years ago
how tall are you? from the frame size and the seatpost height, you seem quite tall
Posted almost 12 years ago
ay here is a holder http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=...
Posted almost 12 years ago
Damn I couldn't see it. I don't have Facebook! Do you have another link?
Posted almost 12 years ago
That shit cray... My favourite PC on this site, how's the bars feel on long rides? Mine murder my wrists!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks man! Much appreciated. My wrist and hands are usully pretty good. I change hand positions a lot on long rides or ride with no hands at times to give myself a break. I've used compact drops for a short while and didn't enjoy it at all. The short reach in the drops is nice but I personally hate the flat top of the bar. I'm way more comfortable on track drops at this point.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I got Deda Velocita bars on my Cursa, they look pretty sweet in my opinion but I'm gonna switch them for some bulls or a shallow drop. Form vs function...
Posted almost 12 years ago
I hear ya. Bull horns are nice to ride with as well. Hopefully you find the best bars for you.
Posted almost 12 years ago
fucking clean
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks man. I'm still waiting to take some new and nicer photos with my new saddle and stem.
Posted almost 12 years ago
How thats gear ratio ? Was thinking about either a 50 or 52 chainring with the 17 in the back ? (:
Posted about 12 years ago
It's totally fine for a generally flat area to ride. Going uphill will get tiring as well as skidding. I enjoy it primarily for flats and downhill. To be honest I'd go with the 50-17. I may actually go to 52-18 for longer rides.
Posted about 12 years ago
Yeah i told myself anything over 50 & ill get an 18 in the back . but where did you get your chainring ? (:
Posted about 12 years ago
Very nice ride! Is it a 2012 frame? Because i think the sloping of the top tube depends on the year it was made. Seen many variations of the exactly same frame size, and that is kinda confusing.. :)
Posted about 12 years ago
Yes it is a 2012. I got it earlier this year and it was on a clearance sale. I had always noticed the slight slope of the top tube but couldn't put a finger on it as to why it looked that way. Maybe the long seat tube to top tube measurement or something.
Posted about 12 years ago
Alrighty. Quite tempted to build one up myself. Nevertheless, i think the frame you have got there is a true beauty.
Posted about 12 years ago
Thank you very much. I was just working with my budget at the time and it has worked out so far. Good luck with your future build. Just take your time and shop around. I'm sure there will be a bunch of deals since new frames will be coming out for 2013.
Posted about 12 years ago
nice build , i think you must change the stem from 90mm to 100mm for a better result heheh
Posted about 12 years ago
I actually did haha. I switched to a -17/100mm origin8 stem and I like it much more. I'll have to post a new pic soon.
Posted about 12 years ago
Where'd you get that sweater, dude? Sweet bike! I'll be building a Pre Cursa soon.
Posted about 12 years ago
I ordered the sweater online from this streetwear company based out of the UK called Abandon Ship Apparel. I'm stoked for your pre cursa build. It's a fun ride and good for daily commuting.
Posted about 12 years ago
alpina fork rules !!
chainring i never saw ! how is it ?
Posted about 12 years ago
Totally agree on Alpina forks! My favorite so far. The chainring is solid for the price. It fit my needs aesthetically and I wasn't ready to spend twice as much for a zen ring. It can take a beating for sure.
Posted about 12 years ago
Nice build man, liking the murdered look, how's the alpina fork?
Finally finished my setup.
Posted about 12 years ago
I love the Alpina fork. Your kagero turned out great man. I'm. Stoked for you, and I see you still needed a spacer as well on your cranks. Did you add a spacer to your wheel too?
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks man! Yeah I wanna try out the fork I have its an alpina. We'll see what happens. I installed a spacer and it won't hit anymore I took for a ride today.
Posted about 12 years ago
frame A++
Posted about 12 years ago
Thank you very much. I really enjoy it. I'm still waiting to get a track champion though.
Posted about 12 years ago
Eventually. I really wanted it before the pre cursa but didn't have the extra money at the time.
Posted about 12 years ago
Where did u order it from?
Posted about 12 years ago
From here http://www.dpmsports.com/dolan/03-track...
They are still on clearance. $350 plus s&h for frame, fork, headset, and seat post.
Posted about 12 years ago
im thinking about getting the same frame, any thoughts?
Posted about 12 years ago
It's solid for a lower level aluminum frame. It's stiff enough to handle sprints and can take a beating for daily use. I definitely recommend it if you're on a budget. Plus the site I ordered from offered the fork, headset and seatpost for about $450.
Posted about 12 years ago
Can u say "murdered out"? Hey bro im 5'8" myself 30inches inseem what size of pre cursa should i get.
Posted about 12 years ago
Haha black is my favorite. As far as the sizing goes, we are pretty close in inseam so I would suggest the 56. I've personally based my sizing on the top tube length. 550 has been pretty comfortable for me and were about th size of my last 2 bikes which were a 53cm kilo TT and and 54cm Motobecane Track. You can mess around with stem lengths, amount of spacers on the steer tube or seat post length to make up for size details.
Posted about 12 years ago
Wow! SUPER clean! Never seen a Pre Cursa quite as nice as this one. :]
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks man. I'm working on it. Everything on this bike is part of the budget besides the cranks. I got my eyes on a concor saddle though.
Posted about 12 years ago
Why havent I seen any updates? Theres got to be something new on this thing.
Posted about 12 years ago
Ha I've only changed the stem and bars so far. I was waiting to order a concor saddle before I posted any new photos.
Posted about 12 years ago
Good saddle choice! I'm thinking of getting the same myself.
Posted about 12 years ago
what size bottom bracket have you used for your pre cursa?
Posted over 12 years ago
im not even sure. the bb came with the cranks and i had my lbs put them on. sorry for the lack of info.
Posted about 12 years ago
Now this is how a Dolan should look! V.nice indeed... How did you get on with fitting the Omniums? Did you have to add spacers? I'm guessing they dont hit the chain stays?
Posted over 12 years ago
thank you! im pretty happy how it turned out and no, i didnt need any spacers for it. my LBS was able to fit them on with no problems. i must admit that its a pretty tight clearance but no rubbing or groove on the chainstay at all.
Posted over 12 years ago
sweet build! hope to see you riding on the streets someday
Posted over 12 years ago
thanks dude, both of your fuji's are solid! its nice to see another long beach rider on here. i was feeling lonely lol. hopefully we can ride together sometime in the very near future.
Posted over 12 years ago
for sure man
im always down to ride.
i know how you feel lol, i thought i was the only long beach rider for a while.
just let me know when you want to ride :}
Posted over 12 years ago
I'm really vibing on that Dolan. Props brother!
Posted over 12 years ago
The pro is super solid. It is pretty damn stiff and sturdy so when im riding over some rough parts of the street, it holds itself together!
Posted over 12 years ago
sick ass bike. sick ass sweater. haha
Posted over 12 years ago
thanks man. i love both equally lol. im still planning to swap out a few parts but its a work in progress.
Posted over 12 years ago
i'd say swap out the stem, seatpost, wheelset. that should make it perfect.
Posted over 12 years ago
any problems fitting the 25's with the frame/fork?
Posted over 12 years ago
no not at all. its a pretty tight fit though. i dont think i could go much higher than a 25c but i havent ever used tires larger than that.
Posted over 12 years ago
Looks nice. I am waiting for my Dolan to come from the UK.
Posted over 12 years ago
thats rad. which frame are you getting? pre cursa, track champion, seta? oh and how long is the wait on it?
Posted over 12 years ago
Pre Cursa. Got a pretty good deal, $620 shipped for the complete bike, it still hasn't shipped, but turn around is supposed to be 2 weeks. I wanted the Track Champion but didn't want white or the extra $.
Posted over 12 years ago
thats a really good deal. especially for the complete! i payed around $450 for the framset alone, hopefully the stock parts are nice enough to keep.i was originally wanted the track champ as well but i couldnt find it in black either and it was out of my budget at the time.
Posted over 12 years ago
Where did you get the LTP wheel set from?
Posted over 12 years ago
from citygrounds.com they are selling the set for $149 and they also have a combo deal (wheels, tubes, rim tape and some zaffiros) for $189 which is a steal.
Posted over 12 years ago
Nice Dolan! Im assuming your going to making some upgrades here and there, any ideas yet?!
Posted over 12 years ago
thank you. the bike is essentially done but i was thinking about getting a new saddle, bars and stem to dial in some comfort but im in no real hurry. i actually want to save up for a track champion and keep this as a beater.
Posted over 12 years ago
Dude sick bike , Not sure if I should go for a precursa or an iro frame , pre cursa definitely looks cool !
Posted over 12 years ago
Thank you. The IRO bikes are really nice steel frames for the money. A friend of mine had the MARK V a while back and i liked it more than my kilo at the time. I really wanted to try aluminum and my frameset was the best deal I could find.
Posted over 12 years ago
Big price difference between the frames as well , but the weight is all i care about . Any big differences between aluminum and steel ?
Posted over 12 years ago
Yeah the IRO framesets are cheaper which may influence your decision. There's no big difference to me as far as weight but I like the tighter geometry and stiffness of this bike compared to any other bike I've had.
Posted over 12 years ago
dude where can i get that awesome chainring? :)
Posted over 12 years ago
http://www.blackspire.com/qs/product/83...
This is the site I got it from. They have tons of options. I will eventually get another for a second build. They're super stiff and are solid for the price.
Posted over 12 years ago
clean! nice build and frameset
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks dude. I was honestly hoping to get my hands on a Track Champion but it wasn't in the budget. This bike is solid and getting the job done for sure. I'm stoked to see your Vigorelli build. I really like the '08 frameset.
Posted over 12 years ago
Awesome crankset man!! Love the looks of it :D
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks dude. It's my favorite part of the bike. Rides super smooth!
Posted over 12 years ago
im in love with your bike dude !
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man I appreciate that a lot. Both of your bikes are sick.
Posted over 12 years ago
how tall are you? if i am 178 what size should i buy
Posted over 12 years ago
I'm only 5'8". If I googled your height correctly I'm assuming you about 5'10". The top tube is measured at 550 and is comfortable for me. I'd say you could go up a size depending on your reach. The stand over height for my bike is pretty close to my lower region but i prefer it that way since I have longer legs/short torso.
Posted over 12 years ago
Slick build man. All black looks good on that frame. How do you like that gear ratio? Do you do much city/downtown riding?
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man. The ratio isn't all that bad. This is my daily commuter since I don't own a car and I ride it to/from work which is located downtown. It's just under 12 miles round trip with a few hills. Easy to skid, fun bombing. Just a bitch to climb long steady hills if you aren't already pedalling in to them.
Posted over 12 years ago
nice ride
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man. It was built on a budget and I'm totally stoked with it.
Posted over 12 years ago
How do you like that chainring? I just ordered a 53t.
Posted over 12 years ago
I'm super happy with it. It pairs with the omniums very well and for half the price of a zen ring it definitely gets the job done.
Posted over 12 years ago
oh oh oh crazy maaan.
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTYFULL DOLAN AROUND
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man. I just tried to keep it simple. It's a pleasure to ride and you have a nice Pre Cursa yourself! Pre Cursa family unite!
Posted over 12 years ago
nice build dude, looks great
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks dude! That means a lot. I am totally envious of you and your Low//
Posted over 12 years ago
Was trying to decide between the pre cursa and the track champion. Went with the track champion and seeing this pre cursa almost makes me regret it.
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man. But I wouldn't regret it if I were you. I originally wanted the track champion over the Pre Cursa but didn't have enough money at the time. This bike is solid for the money IMO.
Posted over 12 years ago
nice , love the all-black theme , same with me :D
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man. Black is the way to go. If I could find a Track Champion in black i'll be even happier.
Posted over 12 years ago
Really nice build ! Looks good all black.
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks. Your leader is very nice as well. I love the look of that stem. The fork reminds me of the carbon from UNKNOWN.
Posted over 12 years ago

Haha thanks man. The pieces just fell into place at the right time. I just sold my Motobecane Track to complete this bike. It was a solid bike for the money.

Hmm ironic haha, It's like im following the exact same foot steps as you. Just bought a Motobecane Track as a replacement. Won't be upgrading anytime soon though.

No worries man. I bought my Motobecane after my car died. Rode it for just over a year and only changed the saddle, the bars and stem which are on my current bike. But if you do save up some money this summer you should think about the Dolan. The site I got it from was selling it for just under $400

Did you buy yours from out of the country or in the states? I've only found ones out of country.

The place is based out of New Jersey! I was fortunate enough that google led me to them. I know the frames are more common over seas. It was only about $50 UPS ground shipping and came to my door within a week. Here's the site http://www.dpmsports.com/dolan/03-track...

Thanks dude. I'll be happier once I get a new saddle at least lol. The origin8 was from my last bike. I'm stoked to see your Vigorelli when it's done.

I gotta say that you Dolan was one of the bikes that inspired my build. I was torn between the track champion and the Pre Cursa and decided to save some money and keep it stealthy.
