if you could fit a 60cm (c-t) i'll trade you my KHS and seatpost for it

They're definitely different. The two frames have totally different geometry. The Rush has tighter geo than the kilo, so it has a much shorter top tube. I can fit a 59 Rush because the top tube is only about 578mm. I wouldn't fit a Kilo because the TT is 606mm. That wouldn't be a very good trade either anyways haha.

my flite 100 has tighter geometry than your rush. & yeah the longer top tube works well for my monkey arms.
as far as quality it'd be your preference between reynolds and tange i guess. my bike is light and really stiff as far as anything else i've ridden.
any ways i debated between the rush and the flite 100 for a while. i like those frames a lot.

The chainstays on the rush are shorter, the wheelbase is shorter, and the BB is higher up as well. The rush is definitely tighter than the flite/kilo. As far as 520 reynolds and tange prestige goes, the 520 is more on the level of tange infinity, which is one tier lower than prestige. As far as weight goes, I found the rush to be very lightweight despite it being steel. Frame for frame, it was less than a pound heavier than my mash.

Thanks. I might actually end up keeping this. Looking at these pictures make me miss it more and more built up haha

How did you like this frame? I'm debating building one but I have heard mixed reviews.

It's stupid light for steel and responsive. It's made outta Tange Prestige which is Tange's 2nd highest quality steel and the geometry is nice and tight. It doesn't come with a fork though so I went with that Big Block because imo it compliments the frame better than any other fork and it has 30mm of rake. Excellent ride quality as well. I actually like it more than my Mash tbh.

The BB is definitely stiff. It does depend on what cranks you use though.

What shim did you use to fit your stem on the steerer tube?
Posted almost 12 years ago
I just use a black 1 inch to 1 1/8th inch steerer shim. Your lbs should have one since a lot of stems come with them.
