I keep looking at this bike and come to realize that I am basically building my Kilo similar to this. Only, I don't have that cool blue.

Nice, cant wait to see it finished! the paint is real nice on this frame, it has a nice sparkle that the pictures don't do justice.

I too look at it when i am thinking of new parts for my own bicycle. haha
I love this color and your part choice.

Hey, whats going on? I just saw your comment, we should get up and ride sometime!

Is your fork on backwards?
Posted over 11 years ago
Nope, to get the rake for the track fork Wound-Up flips the dropouts!

Thank you! I was worried when it first came in but that is how it's supposed to be!

Nice ride... I have one on pre-order in XL. How tall are you on this XL because I think I might want to go down to a L. I'm 6.1".

Yeah, I love them! They are strong, light, very stiff and I think they look cool!

Superb build! Go for the stock omnium chainring though... Looks way better ;-)
Posted over 11 years ago
You must be blind uninc. When did a stock omnium chainring look better than a sugino zen? O_o
Great build!

Yeah, these pictures don't do it justice! I'm hoping to have some better pics up soon!

so pleased that this got featured, I've been checking it out repeatedly. Just picked up one of these very recently

Thanks a lot! I'm glad its finally ready to ride! I'm looking forward to seeing yours!

Matching the seatpost to the stem (or vice versa) would have been cool. I'm not a huge fan of the blue saddle, but everything else is freaking awesome! That paint is so fresh and that Wound Up is perfect on the frame. Well done!

Thank you! I do plan on getting a 3t seatpost for it and the saddle is off my old ride.

Hate the fork, but I love these frames and the color is awesome. Good luck with the build!

are you using shim on your fork?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yes, I am using a Thomson shim. You can see it in the first picture.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I see, very interesting. I've never seen one b4.
Are you going to use the 3T or is it temporary? Really curious how it'll look on thomsons. hahaha
Posted almost 12 years ago
I am planning on using the 3t for the final build but I have a few Thomson stems at home. If I have enough daylight when I get out of work I'll throw them on and take some pics for you to see!
Posted almost 12 years ago
I just put a couple pics up with two different Thomson stems for you!
Posted almost 12 years ago
repaint? more interesting!
Posted about 12 years ago
No, this was a limited color that was offered with the last batch of frames!
Posted almost 12 years ago
oh! I just knew that this color was a limited color by superb sprint, looks great and can not wait to see this build!
