Needed a new training partner as the CAAD10 was beating me up on long mile training rides, especially on ruined chip sealed canyon roads. Built up the Evo as the new training beater.

As a supersix owner i agree too. people sometimes are really risky and they could cause a crash. If you hit the ground with a carbon its going to go bye bye. From a Caad 10 to a Six feels different but its similar. the Caad 10 is sick and even i want one just for racing or training. Something that wouldn't break as easily. I know carbon is really strong but i dont want to risk it due to investments =)

caad racing evo beater? #confused
i love my caad but the evo seems like the better race bike. id consider just throwing some chubbier tires on the caad and make it your beater

also, why would you build this up so nice if its your beater? unless you're racing primarily crits, in which case the caad with shittier components would be a good choice (in case you crash it!)

Haha. It's all in exaggeration. The Evo will only be used for training purpose and will never be raced just because of the sheer cost and investment risk because I do race crits regularly. I've crashed the Caad during my first crit race and have a nice dent in the top tube reminding me of other people's retardedness.
