how tall are you? i am 5'9" and contemplating the 55cm kissena. the geometry on the 52cm seems way too small, but then i've heard some people go down a size on bikes intended for the track.

I'm 5'2 but I've got long limbs so the 55cm works out for me. The 52 is way too small for you, you'd look like a clown riding those circus bikes. With that said, the 55-57 is ideal but it'll really come down to preference and your reach. The seattube is only a 1cm difference while the toptube is about 2-2.5cm difference between 55 and 57.

57 would be too big, i am sure. i ride a 54" specialized road bike, which is rather compact, i admit, i don't want to go smaller than that. the standover height on that is 75cm. your kissena's center-center seat tube is 54cm, so i am guessing the standover height is nearly 80cm? can you stand over it without being on your tippy toes?
otherwise, how's the frame? do you like it? do you ride it on the track or on the road?

Never took the time to measure my standover height, however, I'm not standing on my tippy toes so it's not much a problem. Coming from a steel frame the Kissena is super stiff, responsive and light. I ride it on an outdoor track and on the road, no complaints. Probably gonna get to take it to an indoor velo in the summer so I'll let you know how that is haha
