Excellent rim choice with the H Plus. Wouldn't race on them, but they're supper plush from what I hear.

sweet bike. i have those bars, but i havent found a really clean solution for mounting an outfront garmin. tips?
Posted about 9 years ago
PM'd.
Best bet is a barfly because the mount can flex since the bars are oval on the tops
Posted about 9 years ago
How much did you spend on the wheelset of you don't mind me asking?
Posted about 9 years ago
ay breh wanna go on a bicycle ride with muffinman and riceboy?
Posted about 9 years ago
But I don't ride I just take pictures of bikes for likes and karma???
Posted about 9 years ago
Always down to ride if you're nearby. Riverside/Arcadia isn't far from me.

nice build. Zipp 404 seems to be custom made for that frame. enjoy!
Posted over 9 years ago
Looking so good.. Can you tell me what length is the stem on your monocurve please ?
Posted over 9 years ago
That is an absolutely fantastic looking bike. Certainly the best looking Caad Series I've ever seen. Great job.
Posted over 9 years ago
Wow! What a build! Love the neatness and the stealthiness. Did not expect the caad10 to look this good in this color. Kudos.

it's so sad that a bike like this replaced the CIOCC so fast.
Posted over 9 years ago
Having old track bikes on the front page all the time gets boring and this build is dialed. I don't see the problem
Posted over 9 years ago
hey man, awesome bike, where did you get the small frame parts like the front brake cable stop and the covers for the front shift cable stops?
I'm trying a similar build (not as fancy) and am looking for those parts.

Very rarely do I ever see the Ritchey bar/stem combo, a very unique addition. Props!
Posted over 9 years ago
Where's the matching Ritchey post :(
Posted over 9 years ago
Lol, I was waiting for someone to nitpick at that. It's a unnecessary upgrade atm, maybe in the future.
Posted over 9 years ago
Very nice! Cables are super clean, I appreciate how clean the bike is too, super cool bar+stem, love the CAAD 10 in general! Did you install that band that holds the B Junction correctly?
Posted over 9 years ago
Much appreciated. Junction B is actually in the down tube, near the bb. I think you're talking about Junction A (under the stem). In this case, it is installed wrong because I wasn't given the proper pieces. I'll post some updated pictures with it fixed in a bit.

Whoops! Lol, wasn't too sure about what I was calling what. You're totally right, and yea, I figured! Sounds good, love the bike!

any modifications to the frame to make it di2 compatible ?
Posted about 10 years ago
None needed. Frame comes with replaceable stops for the downtube and chain stay, however not one for the seat tube (just a standard e-wire grommet)
Posted about 10 years ago
Unsure as I got it for free at an LBS. Should be the 6mm but I'd order both just in case. CC works well with returns anyways
Posted about 10 years ago
Dang, this is a nice Caad10! I was close to getting this same frameset/color but ended up with my R3. Looking good!
Posted about 10 years ago
That Di2 must be butter. I should be almost done with my 9 soon!
Posted over 10 years ago
It's flawless, you'll love 6800. I'm stoked, I'll eventually build up a 9!
Posted over 10 years ago
Is that a slammystem cap or the rubber part that came with the Caad?
Posted over 10 years ago
Nice bike. Why did you size down to 52cm? I may be getting one soon but I ride a 54cm Allez. My friend who is similar height had a 52cm also.
Posted over 10 years ago
I sized down because I needed a lower stack height in comparison to my 54. A smaller bike also feels better.
Posted over 10 years ago
Sweet build- how long did it take to get the frameset? FedEx damaged my Fuji and I've been thinking when/if they pony up I might get a CAAD10 or Allez smartweld frameset and switch the parts over.
Posted over 10 years ago
Depends where you're located and frameset availability. I ordered my frameset through an LBS, and since I'm located in Hawaii, it took a bit longer for shipping. As for availability, it depends on color and size, but check your shop to see what's available. eBay works too!

Why did you get rid of the EVO and move to the CAAD10? Also, hows the ride quality between the 2? I've always wondered if I should've went with the EVO over the CAAD10
Posted over 10 years ago
Multiple reasons: I wanted a smaller size (from 54 to 52), and something more lower in cost in terms of replacement if crashed. The CAAD is a bit harsher than the Evo but definitely stiffer. In terms of bang for your buck, the CAAD is definitely worth more than the Evo.
Posted over 10 years ago
Just stunning! I almost got this same colorway but thought it was too plain looking. You have completely changed my mind.
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks man! I initially ordered the green one, and my LBS received the grey one. I didn't mind the mistake, it ended up being pretty sweet
Posted over 10 years ago
Oh man, this is the first time I've seen that frame look good, thanks to the wheels; holy shit it looks good.
Posted over 10 years ago
Saw this on WW, great build!

Why did you end up going back to aluminum? After the evo I think it'd be hard to go back :)
Posted over 10 years ago
I actually started with an Evo, then "downgraded" to a CAAD as my first aluminum bike. It just came down to having a smarter investment in terms of replacement if necessary.
Posted over 10 years ago
Such a nice bike! I really like the black behind black on the zipp parts. It gives the feeling of an understatement. My only question is, Why has the stem the white logo? Otherwise just perfect IMHO :)
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks! The silver on the stem actually matches quite well. It's not mine, I'm borrowing it from a friend.
Posted over 10 years ago
I also think it matches well. Was just wondering :) May I ask you how long you have been training with the Quarq power meter and if you have been making a fast progress? I'm thinking of getting the Stages PM or a new Wheelset.
Posted over 10 years ago
I have owned 2 quarq cranksets alittle over a year. The power readings definitely help your training of you stick to a good schedule. I have encountered a few obstacles that put me off my bike for awhile multiple times which screwed up training. Other than that, it's a great investment. Stages is a good PM.

ugh... HOT!

thanks!.. thinking about slamming the stem and throwing on some pink bartape.. just to experiment ;)

Really loving the shape of CAAD10. The colour is amazing and its probably the first set of Zipps with black decals that I really like! Maybe gum walls on tubs?
Posted over 10 years ago
I would have used gumwalls, but I got the tires through an LBS for super cheap. Maybe my next set?
Posted over 10 years ago
My new favourite CAAD on the web, really love that paintjob! it seems like a lot of people are getting rid of their SuperSix for it's metal counterpart.
Posted over 10 years ago
Are you always rolling on 404's or do you have a set of clinchers as well?
Posted over 10 years ago
Beat me to it!!! You've got the first of this colorway on here. Looks great!
