how bad is the Toe overlap? Someone said the front wheel hits the CRANK when you turn which is wild.

Do you happen to have risers on this too? I think I may have seen you on Bart yesterday 4/26/14

With a black freight bag and cut of jeans? yea it was probably me.

hey! I am 180 cm tall, what size of cinelli parallax i have to choose for me ? thanks!
Posted over 10 years ago
it all depends on your inseam and reach. Not everyone has the same leg length even though they might be the same hight.
Measure your inseam and study a geo chart.
im 180 and I ride a 52 but I have longer legs then most so the top tube is perfect for me.

yes i will choose a 56 because the geometry of parallax are short in general, i will put a 9cm stem,a short stem and could be perfect. yes ?

Nice. Getting one myself.
And I'd say Hi, but your chainstay is telling me to fuck myself.. :P

Congrats! They are fun bikes!
That sticker actually offended someone today when I was out , so it seems to be working!
I actually used to race at Brunswick when I used to live in Melbourne, fun track.
Posted over 10 years ago
Yeah nice! I prefer Coburg track but Brunswick is my local. I dont race track, I'm building a parallax for crit races.
Im glad its offending!

Nice build :)
Can you tell me if 25c and 28c tyres can be fitted in the front and back of bike?
Thanx
Posted over 10 years ago
i use 25s on the front and rear. They fit fine, the 28s might be a little tight. Ill check with the guys at mash for you.

Thanks for helping :)
I have all the parts waiting and today my shop told me that they are expecting delivery in mid May so at the moment i am just going crazy to see who has it in stock here in Europe! If anyone knows please drop me a message!
Posted over 10 years ago
No problem! You can order one from mash transit. They ship to Europe.

Nice! I want a Parallax for the geometry — not that the paint scheme is bad, I just prefer the OG...but I'm certain this is a better ride.

Dig it the whole build... Just not a fan of what they did with the color scheme. But again sweet build. Looks tuff and can take a beating
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks! The colorway is not for everyone but in my opinion Garrett did an awesome job on it.
Thinks a tank, I have been hit twice by cars on this bike and its still in perfect condition.

is it just me or the top tube isn't parallel to the ground?
Posted over 10 years ago
First time I noticed that actually. It looks horizontal though in person

Looks good man. I just finished building mine today.

Thank you for the compliment. I picked the parts I wanted right away so now I don't have much, if anything, to change on this one. yours is good too :)
Posted over 10 years ago
Same here. I am totally satisfied with this bike. I cant think of anything I would need/want to change.

I love these Parallax frames.. Sweet Build!

Thanks! Walton and Chas knocked it out of the park with this one

Nice bike!
How tall are you? What is the size like compared to a size small mash bolt?
Im looking at getting a parallax frame but thr sizing really puts me off haha.
Posted over 10 years ago
Im 5'8 compaired to a bolt it would be around the same. Study the geometry charts and compair the two. Focus on the length of the top tube and make sure you get one that is similar to your bolt.

awesome Mash! love the crank/ring combo :)
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks! I never thought a $ 15 chainring would attract so much attention. I actually got it because it was cheap and in the right gear that I wanted. Once it dies I'll replace it with something nice.

More pictures! More pictures! More pictures! That's really pretty! Would you say the geo is more similar to a mash bolt or histogram? I was going to say the TT protector was out of place but it's not, everything is great with this bike.
Btw what's your ratio?
Posted over 10 years ago
I'll upload some photos tomorrow when I get the chance. It rides great, better then my histogram. More comfortable and also more maneuverable in city traffic.
I ride 46/17 in SF, I think its perfect for my needs.
Posted over 10 years ago
It rides almost completely different then the bolt and histogram, a lot more fun!
Posted over 10 years ago
Nah its for sale. I would love to keep it but with the parallax around I dont think the I histogram would get ridden much
