First built, fell in love with track bikes watching the olympics... Got the frame 4 months ago and slowly started learning about fixed gear bikes. Kept coming back to this website to see other peoples bikes and their input on certain parts. Without this great cycling community i don't think this project would have ever happened. Thank you all for posting your silky smooth bikes, keep being weird and creative!!! Folks at LEADER BIKES blessed me with a spanking new 2014, 735 frame. The red paint job is absolutely gorgeous. Brand new build coming soon. More pictures coming...

really nice ride! do you repaint it from white to red?
Posted over 10 years ago
No no, the white one got replaced. Leader blessed me with a brand new 2014 frame.

That is a goofy bike, but I like it still! How much did you fork out? I've put least $1400 since it's been built, and I've upgraded it quite a bit!

appreciate it man, how are you liking the bullhorns on your visp?

one day you will get a rear philwood or similar paired with a open pro or similar and wonder why you didnt do that before, it will make your bike feel awesome compared with the aero :)
Posted almost 12 years ago
Haha, and riding it with an aero doesn't feel awesome? Once I decide to hit the velodrome I will get a big boy rear wheel, until then aerospoke will more then suffice.
Posted almost 12 years ago
i will take your word for it, do not get me wrong... To be honest i have been looking at Phil Wood track hubs, so you my friend just predicted the future!
Posted almost 12 years ago
the thing is, you could pick any hub(systemEX) or rim(open pro+straight spokes, and it would still feel faster and more lively the the aero, i would advice sell it while there still worth something, thats what i did

looking good, all you need is some yellow bar tape. :)
Posted about 12 years ago
thank you thank you.. any more yellow and id have to name my bike "bumble bee".

Posted about 12 years ago
bro bro thank you very much, your cinelli and your roadie are my favorite bikes on this site. hands down.
Posted about 12 years ago
Probably my favorite 735 build.
Posted about 12 years ago
that means a lot, i appreciate the love! Aside from my bike, your ratio on the Fuji... Impressive my friend!
Posted about 12 years ago
Very nice first build. Hope you continue to enjoy riding fixed!
Posted about 12 years ago
absolutely love riding fixed gear. i really like what you did with your Kilo, id like a bike like that.
Posted about 12 years ago
ive never been a fan for putting those kind of rims on back but yours is somehow epic man
Posted about 12 years ago
Grown up version of the big wheel. Turned out pretty good, I want to upgrade to true track wheel.. Any recommendations?
Posted about 12 years ago
Rad build. I like the touch of the yellow saddle and aerospoke.
Posted about 12 years ago
hows the leader bars treating ya? does it feel like any other track bars? ( cinelli, deda's, alpina etc)
Posted about 12 years ago
Would not recommend them for track, huge fan of how narrow they are..
Posted about 12 years ago
more drive side pics and wrap your bars bro
Posted about 12 years ago
More pics to come. Not a fan of tape. Maybe I will consider it.
Posted about 12 years ago
Yeah show off that sugino 75. It just looks a lot nicer with wraps imo.
Posted about 12 years ago
soon as there is a break in the weather ill snap a photo of that 75. thanks for the love tho man.

This looks like Cedar Mill/Forest Heights...
Ride those hills man, up thompson to skyline, your legs will hate(thank) you!
Posted about 12 years ago
It is cedar mill area, I ride these hills no problem with the fixie. Skyline is a whole nother can of worms tho!!

muchoe dineroe
Posted about 12 years ago
it was a little on the expensive side, not too bad tho. One time build, i want my kid to ride this bike when he gets old enough.
Posted about 12 years ago
Never put it on an actual scale, I added the weight of each part. Not the official weight but threw it out there. Thanks you tho, it's a big kids room.
Posted about 12 years ago
ohh that's why! i see looks like itll be a pretty unique leader! can't wait to see this develop
Posted about 12 years ago
What did you weigh this bike in on?? No offense but its hard to believe that its only 14.40. Also know that your cog will wear down very quickly... those are used usually only for a race so they're top quality but low life. Your room is pretty sick btw!
Posted about 12 years ago
leaders are definitely ascetically pleasing but the weight, not so much. with the current build its at least 20.
Posted about 12 years ago
You'd be surprised how much your cockpit and rear wheel weigh in actuality lol. Never trust the grams listed on items; they always weigh more than what they're listed at.
Posted about 12 years ago
Sweet build.
What spokes are you using on that front wheel?
I just finished my bluu 722 with cx-ray spokes, yours look similar, but thicker
Posted about 12 years ago
tripple bump on all your bikes! i have a raleigh roadie as well that i need to post on here. But i really know how what kind of spokes they are, they came with the wheel..
Posted about 12 years ago
looks preety light is it?
Posted about 12 years ago
