How are thickslicks on the trails?

No traction at all. I would not recommend them. I love them on the street or packed gravel though. They hug the road. Climbing in the thick though they can't grab

Any particular model you'd recommend? I want something that's good for road 80% of the time

I'll give them a try. When I stay in the city the thickslicks can't be beat but I would like something with some more grip. My girlfriend is going to kill me if I keep talking bike stuff. Thanks for the input man!
