Thanks! I have an unlaced set of Araya 16B's with vintage Superbe hubs that will take the place of these if I ever get tired of them. Also, Open Pros are now for sale ;)

ah nice ... hows that super aero? any diff? i have super aero 36 and 32 hole but already "crack" :(

Yeah, it makes a whole world of difference. With the Open Pros, it felt like I was always slowing down. With the Super Aeros, it's like I'm floating. Granted it's clincher vs. tubular, but I still like the look and overall performance of the Super Aeros better than the Open Pros.

Hella digging the "Bat" lugs!

Those are gusseted lugs. Supposed to add stiffness to the frame, but supposedly they also add stress risers as well.

I am kinda surprised to see them. The Kieren circuit has such strict rules as to what get's an NJS stamp and what doesn't, I'd think this would fall outside of those guidelines.

@stalag13 - I've seen some NJS Remintons that also have 'web' lugs. And NJS Panasonic pursuits...PURSUITS! Although I've never seen them ridden in the actual keirin...
@SillyGooseCookie - very true, but the "Katana" version of 3Rensho all came with fastback seatstays. Konno took the idea from old school Cinelli track frames.
