I found this Switchback in a "free" pile near my house. While it looked terrible, it was a great find as it's the same make/model/year/color that I had 30+ years ago as a kid.....only this one is in my current size. With the stock patina (and a thick layer of barn dust and grime) the bike was torn down, cleaned, greased and rebuilt to stock specs. The process was great as it brought back so many memories from riding as kid. While it isn't a high end bike, it rides great and is very comfortable.

For sure! I think it sat in a horse barn for the last 25 years or so. It was covered in dirt & hay. I think that thick layer of dust & being out of sun & rain actually preserved it a bit!
