More Info:
This is fast and responsive.
It has short wheelbase.
Prologo saddle or Fizik Saddle are recommended for you seat really comfortable.
Due to ratio gear "48 x 17" is really good choice for flat. uphills, downhills , velodrome and street race. It's damn fast and easy to skid that you wont knock down behind the back of the big vehicles.
But Trust me if you take Prologo Scratch Pro Saddle, It's giving you a long and comfortable ride because less dense and less foam and more padding it has, no matter you sliding any sit position while riding. Not only factor system but the shape got wrong for another saddle and got bruise in the end. Prologo Saddle is the italian Company.
And yes, Mavic Ellipse are makes good training on the velodrome or pacing somewhere.

can you give me some advice for handling with toe overlap in the city. I'm going to buy a track frame (52) soon and use 165mm cranks with clipless pedals and a front brake.
but I'm still a lil bit afraid of toe overlap
Posted about 12 years ago
It's definitely fine. My toe clip size is S. You will get to use after riding very long. Sorry for late due I forgot about site I never check so long.

How do you like those sram s300 gxp crankset I'm thinking of getting them
Posted over 12 years ago
The Sram S300 Courier Crankset is either good for city riding or racing somehow so far. It's good to bang for my budget. Just two thousand bucks plus and it came with GXP bottom bracket. I like it very much. Other good and mighty sram crankset like Sram Ominum is good and abit more hundred buck to add in. Both came with 48T chainring also.

What is your honest opinion on mavic elipse wheels? How heavy and strong are they?
Cheers.
Posted almost 13 years ago
They are solid, strong, fairly light, reslient bearing, sharp blade spoke and its also french thread come from italy, it made in romania. Many owners may say that the chainline may have problem, im not sure because Mine doesnt have problem. Maybe its frame chainstay I think. It may be noy easy to work on but tale care of it much I could.I bought them and I feel happy to ride. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply! Was this wheel set expensive? You have some nice bikes! IMO, it would really feel better with persuit handlebar but that's just me(:!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Not so expensive. It really good value. Its only 600 buck plus for my country currency . For pursuit handlebar can be patient just a while.
Posted almost 13 years ago
why not change to pursuit stems and bullhorns? it will look nicer. nice bike though!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yup I know, Just like Garrett Chow's Ciocc Enemy pursuit campy record. But no choice, I bought headset at first, Should have bought two lugged fork if one for pursuit stem and another for normal stem, so yeah . I'm in dilemma, don't know what to do but I ride like very comfortable and pedal easy fast. lol. For bullhorn will be next time if use short stem for it. that's it. Your bikes is nice too. ride safety too.
Posted almost 13 years ago
I think the headset and fork are 1 inch, you could get it threaded at a bike shop and then get a threaded headset and quill stem, that would be awesome! nice build too!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yes, it's 1" inch , For Quill stem and Threaded headset, should have bought early or two forks for threaded and threadless. Too, I bought headset and thomson stem at first. I don't want to waste money ("Dilemma") and save for delicious foods to fill my stomach. However, it does ride very Supeb comfortable and fast in reality I swear. Your bikes is nice too. Pedal hard safety too. Thanks

Oh yeah, I have seen your bike in Velospace so familiar before. Right. I didn't expect that so.
Hi-5! Yup, that great. Just make my bike go smooth and ride fast but haven't put bar tape and upgrade thomson seatpost yet since I'm lazy to go there to upgrade. But anytime soon . so yeah. Ride safety with helmet too.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Where is your bartape?
Posted almost 13 years ago
Soon, it's on the way to upgrade bar tape and thomson seatpost. Ride safety man.

Im diggin the road drops on the lo pro. I miss mine sometimes.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yup, But I guess you sold Lo Pro already and haven't dig the road dropbar, nevermind. You just enjoy your ride on your new geometry. I ride with dropbar was feeling freely and fast in every good routes. Thanks
Posted almost 13 years ago
yeaah.. that's ellipse looks cool on affinity.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yup, It was the first Ellipse wheelset I bought the real brand really. Make it simple and quick ride. Your bike also look good with spinergy rex x in front. peace.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Bullhorns would LOOK better. but if those bars are what you find comfortable then there is no reason to get bullhorns. On a side note, I really want that wheelset. Would you happen to be selling it by any chance?
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yup, I really knew that. But I still feel very comfortable to ride with dropbar and long stem because it's short wheelbase really but if I want to upgrade bullhorn then it had to install short stem like Thomson Elite X2. I want some bullhorn which is unique something like Deda Dabar bullhorn if you know that. But anytime will update anyway. For those wheelsets I can't sell because I just bought last month and I'm lovin it. It's smooth madness. Make simple and quick ride on. Why not you buy some new wheelset? Just relax and slowly to buy part things. As for me, I earn for one years to buy all things to build up complete. I'm sacificed on it.
Posted almost 13 years ago
I dont like the bar setup. Needs bullhorns, pursuit or risers. On a less negative note everything else looks really good, quality wise as well. Well done!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yup, but I'm fine with it . But will update anytime if I buy some bullhorn. People do say just like Garrett Chow from Mash Sf say "wear bullhorn to ride upright and no more Aerospoke please" that why he say. But riding on this is fun and free. Wear helmet safety. Peace.

Hi, lovely bike: congratulations!
I'm building a Lo Pro myself and was wondering what headset bearing size (upper and lower) one should order.
Thanks for your advise :-)
