They're Aliens. They might be out of production but it's not like they're Cinelli Lasers or something.

hei, can i ask you, how does thickslick ride? is it safe?

Posted about 12 years ago

Tony

Tony says:

i'd prefer randos over thickslicks. the thickslicks provide a lot of traction, but ehhhh you absorb more vibration than you do with randos. id say if you were to choose between the two of them, get a randonneur

I already like the Randonneur, I wear it 2 times since taking my bike now, but I still find out if there is a better tire than that, but in fact, the Randonneur is still the best tire for sure.. thanks for the info dude

Tony says:

well the randos are more durable than the thickslicks, but id prefer thickslicks if you love skidding on smooth surfaces. but they're just horrible to use on a rainy day where the pavement is soaked and slippery. not a problem bro!
