I'm strongly considering a flat bar conversion for my Macho Man, curious what you thoughts/experience is?

Do it! It's my daily and it's comfy. Flat bar might suck for longer rides but I prefer this setup than drop bar

I've got the red/white disc version, but this particular three way fade is the best paint job ever. This bike rips!

Yess the red disc one is dope! I woulda gotten that one if I didn't already have parts for rim brakes already

This is a good lookin bike. not too overdone with the pink bits, just enough!

Do you find you still need the chain catcher, even with a narrow/wide ring, or is it just there for the bling?
Nice build!

The chain catcher does absolutely nothing for me it's just for the bling.
The narrow wide works great, never dropped a chain

Funny because of the pully bolt mount on the back of the seat tube the chain catcher sits right above it just clearing my drivechain. Would be more useless if my chainring was smaller

Hell yeah! This is honestly the exact same thing I want to build up. Glad it looks so good built up like I thought.

Really want to!
Once I get rid of my Ellsworth I'm gonna build one up. I already know it'll be my favorite bike. My nature boy was pretty awesome but always wanted gears for it. Stoked for you!

Yeah that's how I felt with my gangsta, it's perfect but needs gears and this was the perfect build

How much did it cost for the buildup?

I work at a shop and these were parts I already had for a while but I would say if everything was brand new it would be $$$$$$$$$
