I needed a new commuter and I had some spare track parts laying around and had my sights set on a steamroller. I said fuck it and got this frame instead. I was hoping it would come with a beard, so you can imagine how disappointed I was when I opened the box and found just a frame and fork. Nevertheless, I'm glad I went with the Nature Boy as it rips off road! The trials freewheel has 108 engagement points so it's really loud and obnoxious and makes people hate me.

Looks slick. I'm currently contemplating on purchasing the disc version to replace my Nekkid. Would you reccommend? I heard it is pretty hefty, especially in a 61cm (not that weight would be a selling point).

I would definitely recommend it! It's a very well made frame and it's fun as hell to ride.
It's a little bit hefty. As pictured it is about 23lbs but to be fair, the wheelset is a boat anchor and those tires are 480g each.

How do you like the freewheel? I'm looking for something for a new commuter build. Coming from a fixed gear, I'm not sure if I'm ready for waking the neighborhood as I coast home, haha!

There are many freewheels out there that are nearly silent, or at least a bit less obnoxious, if you're worried about that. I really just enjoy the lightning fast engagement of a trials freewheel. The Echo freewheel is very solid and quick, but it's not very well sealed and has some drag. I'm thinking of getting a white industries trials freewheel since it's sealed, rebuildable and made in USA.

Thanks man. I'm definitely looking for something sealed for commuting. Was just looking around to see if there was any contenders to the WI freewheel.
