Cool chain on the U-Lock,, I removed mine from the frame because it sounds a lot and moves too much, it even fell off the bike one day. Does it work?

It's just a small bungee cord, but it keeps the lock from rattling too much. Only fallen off once and I'm pretty sure I didn't push it in all the way that time
