how do you like the gevenalle shifting for touring? Any better than dowtube shifting?

I like them for the convenience to maintenance ratio. Not having to reach low and not as mechanically annoying as Brifters.
But the thumb lever gets in the way if I were to carry something oversized on the porteur rack. But that's usually the case with drop bars.
I would pair with a Surly front rack next time.

How do you like those Paul Canti Levers and the Paul Calipers? Planning to build up a Space Horse aswell if I can find one and repaint it and what not.

For the year I had the bike as a flat bar porteur. The edges of the levers proved to be sharp and solid. To the point where it tore up some flesh from my hands on a fall :) The brakes have no fine tune adjustment. But I would recommend hunternugz(google it) to help with that. I'm looking to switch this back to townie once I find a disc camper bike to move to.

What kind of hanger are you using behind the seatpost for the rear Canti lever brake? How about for the front?

the front is just a Tektro fork mounted hanger. Bike Shop choice
The rear I forgot. But it's a generic rear brake cable hanger. another bike shop choice as I just walked in to grab it local.
