can't believe that you're selling

I want to consolidate back down to three bikes by selling this and the Lemond for a racier cross bike, but I'm gonna hold on to this one for now.

Wish I had the funds to deck out my Space Horse like this. Looking rad!

Most of the upgrades that would have been pricy were picked up used. Wheels, crankset, all of the cockpit parts. That went a long way towards relative affordability.

I just love all the possibilities these bikes provide. Reminds me why I went with one!

This keeps getting progressively more badass-looking.

Thanks!
About the only thing left to do is get another wheelset built to switch between road and gravel tires. Thinking about White Industries T11 hubs and similar rims.

Maybe i9s. They might look a little ridiculous on this frame, though.

T11 to Archetype for sure! Have them on my road bike and couldn't ask for a better set of wheels for it.

Nice! I just got a macho man disc and ordered some gevenalle shifters. Any issues on the setup?
Posted about 9 years ago
Absolutely none. They have definitely been the best upgrade on this bike. I won't run any other shifters on an all-road or CX bike.

The CXV levers are long pull and therefore made for V-Brakes. For Mini-V Brakes, you need the short pull (canti/disc) levers, the CX not the CXVs.

CXV levers to CX9s is a recommended pairing in Gevenalle's FAQs and I have been using this setup for over a year. CX9s are not a true mini V.

Awesome how the thumbies let you avoid any significant drive train changes going from drops to flat bars.
