Curious to hear what your impressions of the bike were with the steamroller fork vs. the original vs. the colnago one in terms of ride feel? Geo obviously quite different.

Surprisingly all three forks have the same rake, the only difference is axle to crown length. The Colnago and stock fork handle essentially the same, I just don't like the way the stock fork looks. The Steamroller fork was a little more comfortable but definitely a chunk heavier.

I was curious if the materials felt different. But from what you're saying, I gather that the weight made it difficult to notice anything else?
For 2019 I'm putting together an alu frame (Dodici Gara) and flat-crown steel fork with 32c's. In my mind, a poor man's ctrack with generous rubber :D The fork I'm using is a steamroller lookalike with only 350mm a-c, as opposed to 375 (I think) on the 9/8" 'roller. The rake should be the same afaik.
I was actually just a few seconds away from purchasing the Thunderdome frame for this project a couple of years ago. If you have a skinny fork you need to get a frame with EC headset, or it'll just look silly. Ended up with the Dodici as they closed shop and had good deals on the final stock.
I also see you've gone with the prettiest black seatpost there is <3 No wonder this went in my favorites a while back.

Your bike is so clean; great build. Not that it matters but what is the weight with pedals?

oh whoops I misread your question. I don't have an up to date weight with the risers and zipp stem, but at Update 2 it weighed 17.8 lbs / 8.07 kg without the bottle cage. I imagine it's around that area still, with a slightly heavier seat but lighter stem.
