I've got an xroad and it's definitely not a good cross bike, but whateverworks for you. Don't expect to many podium visits

Just finished 3rd for my second race! ;) But in muddy conditions i can see what you mean. I like it better as a road bike

Congrats! geometry just aint right really for a good cross. I have mine built for endurance, stock except for a shorter Easton stem, Selle Italia Flite saddle, and Hed Ardennes SL wheels. Running 32mm Conti gran prix 4 seasons. Climbs like a mofo and great for all day runs. Again congrats but there's better cross bikes out there, don't sink too much into the Argon.
