Presenting my 'Armageddon Townie'. I've been almost exclusively riding this since I got it, and have been attempting to avoid using cars for anything (unless I'm hauling moar bike frames). Inspired by a view of an urban space devoid of gasoline, yet still haunted by its former shell of infrastructure. Move.
I strongly endorse the bikesdirect/bikeisland frames, though I do regret not getting a frame that accommodates wider tires, maybe canti posts. Oh well, it's a great deal. Super fun ride, even with the Cetma rack (handles groceries, toilet paper, beer, your sister, with moderate grace). I'm not too concerned with putting too much more into this frame, but can see myself ultimately going for new wheels once I break this set.
'sup

toe overlap is an accepted reality with this frame. great bike for the money... I got the bars and cetma rack used - so everything was waaay cheaper - I endorse it
