I was only able to pick up a frameset and XT wheelset. The owner did not want to sell me the plug. I tried a rigid carbon fork - it was light but no real drive. And I didn't really like the look. So I picked up a Marzocchi Bomber Z2 1997 that was a few years older than stock Marzocchi, and the setup hit the spot. I've also had luck implementing a 3x10, but the chainrings are designed for 8sp, so it runs a bit loud. I intend to go back to the good old XT 739 and find some cool rare cranks.
