How's cross tires compared to road tires? Is it really that much slower? My next bike could be cross. Always wanted to do trails on a road bike-like bike.

Hi,the 25c Michelins I have on now are heavy but comfy on the aluminum frame.I wish I had a triple crank sometimes but trails are still lots of fun.

Really love it, cyclexed it a bit,now has a rack and do day trips . Alum frame is fine with 25c tires or up,buzzes a bit with 21s or 23s.

I am liking this Bianchi Axis... I was close to buying one off craigslist, but someone beat me to it. How do you like it?
