Bianchi Merlo

Found this mixed with other bikes leaning on each other like fallen dominoes, they just got unloaded from a container van from Japan that was shipped to the Philippines- hence the store name "Japan Surplus Bikes". Had to move a lot of bicycles inside the warehouse and it felt like you were in an oven, cramped with dusty bikes, drenched with sweat - not sure of what you will get the care taker gave up so I gave him a little cash just to let me go digging - I went on, saw the bike and met happiness again. Gave 200 pesos or $4.00 US to the care taker and 4000 pesos $80.00 US for the bike. After a lot of polishing, cleaning, and rubbing- no dents found, a lot of light scratches removed. some paint chips, decided not to retouch the paint and keep it as it is. Posted this bike for sale but after a few rides, enjoyed it and just love staring at it. Got several offers for the bike answered it is reserved and deleted the ad. This bicycle is now for keeps.
