Stop making want an HED3 LOL. But really though, nice bike! Clipless would look good on here too!
Posted over 11 years ago
How do u like the ponza
Posted over 11 years ago
Honestly it is a great saddle for the price and can take a beating.
Posted over 11 years ago
I don't know why I haven't seen this bike before. I really like it! Looks like you need a much longer stem though. Love the HED3. :)
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks Thomas! I have a couple of different sizes and looking to switch it out for my 90mm 3T stem. BTW I am loving your Felt collection you have there.
Posted over 11 years ago
Yea dude! For some reason, I knew you had that Cinelli, but I never saw this even though it looks like you have had it for a while! and Thanks! I really love felt for what ever reason. I'm trying to get my hands on a Felt cx bike or a mtb. But my focus is still on upgrading my road bike, mainly because the only thing I own on that bike is the Frame/Fork and cockpit. After I crashed, everyone loaned me extra parts they had haha. :D
Posted over 11 years ago
And, I recently purchase some Reynolds DV46 tubular road wheels for racing. I have to get a new rear hub for the wheels because of the campy freehub body.
Posted over 11 years ago
Yea, I've had this baby for a while now lol. I was actually planning on selling it to build up the cinelli mash cxss... Sorry to hear about your accident man. I am actually in love with your Felt FC.
Posted over 11 years ago
meh, it was a while ago. I don't really care. If i didn't crash, I wouldn't have a nice carbon frame haha :D
Posted over 11 years ago
Very true lol... I am almost done upgrading my cannondale and I am excited to finish it.
Posted over 11 years ago
I am planning on getting Ultegra (maybe DI2?) or Campagnolo Chorus. Not really sure what. Also depends on budget, but I am really leaning twards the Campy.
Posted over 11 years ago
Dude I love your build!!! I really like the color scheme. Oh how do you like those omniums? I've been thinking of getting me some for track and street.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks man! I love my Omniums and I definitely recommend them. Best bang for your buck for sure.
Posted over 11 years ago
Kinda of a random question, but what bike do you prefer, the kagero or a super pista.i have to change to buy one of the, I just can't decide which to get
Posted over 11 years ago
I would personally prefer the Super Pista. Never really been a fan of Leaders.
Posted over 11 years ago
Forsure.thanks man.i was just considering it because I've never owned a pursuit frame
Posted over 11 years ago
No problem man.. You can always try both out and see which one you feel more comfortable.
Posted over 11 years ago
Wish I could man I just don't know anyone with a kagero or pursuit frame
Posted over 11 years ago
This a super nice Bianchi! Don't get rid of it. I regret selling mine :/
Posted over 11 years ago
I ask myself the same question -_- long story short I had to fund my college tuition.
Posted over 11 years ago
College is first man for sure... I am sure you will come across another one.
Posted over 11 years ago
I think it would be a much nicer build if you ditched the B43 and got a sweet Hed Jet4 or something.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks Jesse! I agree with you and thats why I am looking to sell it and buying something new.
Posted almost 12 years ago
great pictures!
Posted almost 12 years ago
been working alot and it has been to cold in NYC.. waiting for may for the 5 boro bike tour cant wait for that.. wanna do it atleast once in my life
Posted almost 12 years ago
That tour would be awesome man, you should definitely do it!... I would like to do it myself lol.
Posted almost 12 years ago
What do you prefer between your 3T and Deda bars?
Posted almost 12 years ago
3T road drops without a doubt!.. way more comfortable and just look sweet on any build.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I'm looking at both of those bars and heard good and bad about the Ergonova's, so that's why I ask. I heard they hurt your hands a bit?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Deda drops actually hurt and honestly sucked on long rides. I haven't had any problems at all with my Ergonovas and feel great.... as for climbing hills I would for sure go with the Ergonovas.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks for the info. Btw, the fork is in the mail:) Thanks a lot for helpin' me find it!
Posted almost 12 years ago
No problem man.. I am looking forward to seeing it on your Bianchi :D
Posted almost 12 years ago
Road drops vs track drops. Road drops will always be the choice for street riding, and even for track riding for some people. They just give more hand positions, their drop isn't as deep, and they always have a more ergonomic fit. The ergonova's are great though. I see more people with these bars on their roadies than any other bar.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Man... very nice!:)
Posted almost 12 years ago
The mash bullhorns are really comfy, but I just switched them out with my 3T road drops.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Nice, do you still Have them maybe ibcan buy them off you if you're willing to ship?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Always have loved the white pistas better than the green. I've heard good things about those MASH bars!
Posted about 12 years ago
What are you changing? It looks the same.
Posted over 12 years ago
I put the mash bullhorns to try them out on this, but pics wont upload.
Posted over 12 years ago
She's a beauty man. I love what you're doing with this concept.
Posted over 12 years ago
what a beauty!
..don't mean to nag. but quick release on non-drive side!
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks!... yea I know I changed it a while ago, I just haven't updated new pics.
Posted over 12 years ago
dope bike. get that front wheel converted to track !
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man! you have a sweet Concept as well.. I was actually thinking of getting some open pros just for the track.
Posted over 12 years ago
Sick Build!! what do you recommend Super Pista or Concept?
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man... I personally haven't ridden a super pista before, but I would think both feel the same. Are you trying to buy one?
Posted over 12 years ago
Dude! Yours is clean man! Really diggin' the HED in the front. My brother (Silver_Soul) just picked up a 2007 as well and he's got the classic look going on with Mavic MA40's laced to Sheriff hubs, I believe. The white concepts are dope!
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks! I appreciate it. I LOVE bianchi pista concepts in celeste, pearl white, and in black. They are just great looking frames. for my build I decided to go with black parts, because I think it makes the frame stand out.
Posted over 12 years ago
Hey do you like the HED or the aerospoke more? thanks
btw Great Concept i like the color scheme!
Posted almost 13 years ago
I like both. The Aerospoke is heavier, but can take a beating on the street. The HED3 is very light and very fast. I pick up my speed faster with the HED3. Overall both are great wheels and I've had great rides with them. I am actually looking to sell my Aerospoke now because I am saving up for another build.
Thanks I appreciate it :]
Posted almost 13 years ago
Did you ever sell the hed3?
Posted almost 13 years ago
Nope, to many low ballers and flakers on craigslist lol. I'v decided to sell the Aerospoke instead and keep the hed3 for now. BTW Loving your new wheelset.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Oh I see, what's this build your saving up for?
The wheelset is awesome!
Posted almost 13 years ago
I found a 2009 Cinelli Vigorelli for sale on craigslist which I was thinking of picking up, but the guy hasn't gotten back to me yet. How much did you spend building up your wheelset?
Posted almost 13 years ago
The vigorelli would look nice with all silver parts. The hubs were $$ but can't remember exactly how much. I got the rims for $110 (both) and then $1 for each spoke. I'll check on how much the hubs cost me but dam it was worth it they're so smooth. The wheelset weights the same as my Reynolds.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yea If I get it I am not going to use black components and silver parts are what I had in mind ;D.... I love your wheelset and I want to build one identical to yours for my concept. They seem very stiff.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Love it. I'm rebuilding my concept almost just this way except the rear B43 is white with a white thick slick, a white seat post and saddle. white back end black front - hope it looks good as this :)
Posted almost 13 years ago
Thanks bro I am glad u like my build ;D.... I am looking forward to seeing yours, build up because it sounds like its going to be a great build. Is your concept an 2007 as well?
Posted almost 13 years ago
yeah dude it's an 07! had to get a seatpost clamp crack fixed so the seatpost area looks a little different now but it's in perfect shape otherwise. Debating whether to pull the trigger on the front aerospace - always wanted one but ppl hate on em so much these days. U like it?
Posted almost 13 years ago
Sad to hear about the crack, but glad u got it fixed. I think you should go for it man and try it out for yourself to see if its a fit for u. I personally ignored the hate and went for it because I wanted to try it out and I really like it because it is strong and can take a beating on the streets. And thanks! i got it cheap on craigslist and ended up painting it and added both decals so it looks new lol.
Posted almost 13 years ago
really like how your bike looks like now. with those drop bars black saddle and that HED wheel is really nice and simple.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Thanks bro! I was going for that simple clean look ;D... only thing I might change is the stem to a shorter one.
Posted almost 13 years ago
nice build you got there :) maybe you could check out mine :)
Posted almost 13 years ago
awesome bike. how was the hed?
Posted about 13 years ago
Thanks wapow.. I love your Cinelli ;).. Hed3 is really good and fast.
Posted about 13 years ago
seen a lot of your parts for sale on cl, are you parting out the Bianchi or something?
Posted about 13 years ago
naw just selling my old deep v wheelset and hed3 to make some cash to start another build.
Posted about 13 years ago
still exploring my options. I was thinking of a steel frame this time but idk. Any suggestions?
Posted about 13 years ago
hmmm... Steelman makes really, really cool steel frames, and they're in Redwood city! http://steelmancycles.com/tig_frames.html Only problem is frames are very expensive! Those are custom though, if you're looking for something unique and used, then check CL or eBay, I've seen some really cool frames for sale that we're around your size.
Posted about 13 years ago
what's your budget for a frame? maybe I can help you look for something suitable. I'm always on eBay and Craiglist anyways ;)
Posted about 13 years ago
wow steelman cycles are amazing! I would love one lol.. I was really into getting a bridgestone or bianchi pista steel frame
Posted about 13 years ago
a Bridgestone would be pretty cool, and easy to find in 52/53cm... but NJS frames are pretty inflated right now. and yeah, those Steelman bikes are sooo nice, I'd love a tig-welded Steelman with a sloping top tube and a triple triangle. So pricey though...
Posted about 13 years ago
Yea I wouldn't mind a 52cm I really like the look of a bridgestone. Very clean slick look. I just finished looking at their website and maaaaaannnnnn they are EXPENSIVE! lol
Posted about 13 years ago
http://steelmancycles.com/Brent%27s%20t... wow. just wow. that bike is incredible
Posted about 13 years ago
That is a beautyyyyyy!! I would love to have it in my size lol and exact clean set up.
Posted about 13 years ago
lol u should..... I wish i could find a GTB as well in my size like yours.. or even an Affinity Low pro.
Posted about 13 years ago
If I can sell some more parts then I might have enough money start a new project. Do you have trouble finding frames in your size? I sure do :(
Posted about 13 years ago
Yea I do. Normally I find them in 56 to 58 which are to big lol.
Posted about 13 years ago
especially with the chrome fork.. If it was a 55 I would probably get it.
Posted about 13 years ago
If you get a new frame, are you going to transfer your parts from this bike or get new ones?
Posted about 13 years ago
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PELOTON-NJS-Kei... wow. that color is so sick!
Posted about 13 years ago
I'll keep my concept how it is and just build up with new parts this time I'll go with chrome parts such as stem, seatpost, cranks.... Wow that candy purple is nice and its my size.
Posted about 13 years ago
that was actually my bianchi pista on cl not long ago. it was technically a 55cm, but the bb was stamped "56" for whatever reason. it could've been yours!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Well it is an AMAZING Bianchi Pista I really like it a lot. I wish it would have been mine :/
Posted almost 13 years ago
How much did you get the frame for? Might be picking one up this week for 400 :) Same frame but size 55
Posted about 13 years ago
I think I saw your HED 3 for sale on craigslist. Also, when are you going to put your B43 on?? I really want to see it!
Posted about 13 years ago
yea i was going to keep it for my next build but need the money.. oh and my buddy letting me barrow his chainwhip to remove cog from my velocity deep v to the b43.. Ill try and get it done soon to get pics up :)
Posted about 13 years ago
I can't wait to see it! Also, (you may know this already) You should tighten your cog more than your lockring because if your cog isn't tight enough, it will unthread slightly (when you skid stop or resist crank movement) and press against the lockring. I didn't tighten the cog on my B43 enough and it got stuck against the lockring, it was a real bitch to remove!
Posted about 13 years ago
Thanks I appreciate the help I actually wasn't aware of that. Ill make sure i tighten my cog good enough then. How do you like your b43s?
Posted about 13 years ago
They're definitely bomb-proof and look great. I once tried using a brake with the front B43 and it made a terrible and noisy death-squeal whenever I braked. So then I ran my Shamal up front and my B43 as a drive wheel. The B43 really does its best as a drive wheel. I eventually switched it out for my FiR to Miche because it was a bit too heavy for my already-heavy GTB. So yeah, it's a great wheel, but a bit too heavy (since your concept is really light, the weight of the B43 really shouldn't be a problem). I was thinking about selling the set, but now I'm having some doubts...
Posted about 13 years ago
Oh I see. Yea, I noticed it was a bit heavier but seem really strong compared to my velocity deep v. I personally like the way your b43s look on your GTB.
Posted about 13 years ago
thanks. I like it too, but I think I like the FiR's a little bit more. Maybe I could save up for a SRAM S80 front wheel or something deeper than the FiR's.
Posted about 13 years ago
Pics or its not true :p haha
Posted about 13 years ago
Haha just saying you should post pics with the new b43 and thomson seatpost :)
Posted about 13 years ago
ohh lol I did they are there... The wheel is not mounted yet tho because I need a chain whip to swap cog.
Posted about 13 years ago
aerospoke came out great for you! lol now im just waiting for the kameleon paint to come in then wait some more for paint and dry time..
Posted about 13 years ago
Thanks man ;).. I love how it came out, just lots of work lol... I am excited to see yours. The color you chose looks amazing.
Posted about 13 years ago
yea Just need the black omnium cranks..I got a good deal on the wheel and seatpost
Posted about 13 years ago
How do you like your aerospoke? Thinking of trading my B43 for one or a HED3
Posted about 13 years ago
I love my aerospoke lol.. Both aerospoke or hed 3 are great but depends what type of riding your doing. Street? or Track?
Posted about 13 years ago
I recommend the Aerospoke then, because they are a lot stronger and can take a beating on the street.
Posted about 13 years ago
the wheel looks good, it might have matched better with the original semi gloss, but it still looks good. very nice bike
Posted about 13 years ago
Thanks man! it was tuff deciding the color but I went with flat because its something different and not a lot of them out there.
Posted about 13 years ago
Diggin the concept but, I'm not diggin the lost my Jets had against your team today, lol.
Posted about 13 years ago
lol thanks man... both teams did very good, but man Sanchez got bullied bad lol and Mcfadden was a beast! Great game tho overall ;)
Posted about 13 years ago
I love the flow of your Bianchi Pista I noticed g0tyupimp's comment above too - just love the way these bikes flow.
Posted about 13 years ago
Yep, loving this build! Let's face it right now - if i didn't have a Leader, id have one of these, only with the Hed3 on it! ;)
Posted about 13 years ago
Thanks! I was selling my hed3, but Ill keep it for the Mash instead lol
Posted about 13 years ago
Aerospoke brahh
Posted about 13 years ago
I think because it feels a lot more stiff on rides. The hed 3 feels fragile.
Posted about 13 years ago
very nice! very "bianchi"
Posted over 13 years ago
The one with the drops, which I change out with the risers on shorter distance rides.
Posted over 13 years ago
Thanks I really appreciate it!! If you get it you wont regret it, it rides like a dream :)
Posted over 13 years ago
nioce double straps
i like it wit bullhorns
Posted over 13 years ago
Thanks :)... I like the bullhorns too I just need to get some grips on them.
Posted over 13 years ago
I always love bianchi.hed3 tubular fast enough man..no need for clincher..=D

How did you get the tape to curve like that on the HED3? And what type of tape did you use?
