Black headset and black quill stem would look good. there are some small diam compact drops to be found too. would look good like that.
Posted almost 11 years ago
i cant find any nice 26.0 threaded stems for under 30ish. I could get the 260mm civia bars though. I was gonna do that before, but i already had the bars/stem so buying an adapter would be cheaper :p
Posted almost 11 years ago
yeah, probably gonna have to pay more than 30, My roommate (joserheo) has civia bars, nitro pearl stem, and chris king black headset and it looks sexy

So you're the one who bought that Bianchi. If this is the hed3 I think it is, it has been a lot of places lol. Goodluck on this proj! Always wanted to hop onto a roadie.
Posted about 11 years ago
it has definitely been used, has a little hop, and a some scratches, and the hub is a little off. Im still gonna use it for swag points even though it looks a bit odd on this bike.
Posted about 11 years ago
I'd try finding something else as a rear if this is a "daily bike" swag points don't count when this bike is stolen.
Posted about 11 years ago
came with a matching rear for free :) and im just gonna keep it on for a couple rides just to show off, ater that, im switching to the other wheel to make the bike a little lighter, and usable for oahu roads.
Posted about 11 years ago
Yeah, doesn't hurt to bring out a little HED from time to time. Well, goodluck with the build. Doesn't look like much is needed to change.

Rather a bizzare setup there. Finish up the rest(FD,crankset, brakes)with Mirage parts. Great bang for the buck and Bianchi deserves Campy. Luck on your project.
Posted about 11 years ago
i hear people say that mirage sucks :( but some say its good. know any other groupos? (no campy stuff haha)

is the chainring a 54t? is it a 9speed ring or 10 speed ring? i might wanna buy it if its a 10 speed
Posted about 11 years ago
its a 55t, and it works with my 7 speed cassette LOL. Im not really sure if its suppose to do that or not
Posted about 11 years ago
ahh i see. yeah, theyll both work with 7. theyll both work with 10 too realistically. building up a tt bike here soon, so im looking for a 54, but i wanna stick with 10 speed on 10 speed.
