The Emme 2 is in no way a monocoque frame which has been pressed into a mould - it is bonded together piece by piece and finished by the hand of an artist. It is Bottecchia's top of the range PRO level frame. It won the coveted Green jersey in the 2011 Giro d'Italia (King of the mountains) with Stefano Garzelli aboard.* Frame specs are as follows - (painted to Bottecchia's specifications) Outer lamination: 3K unidirectional carbon Inner lamination: M46J unidirectional carbon (All carbon fibre is sourced in Italy and layered by Sarto Cycles in Veneto) Stiffness value: 125N/mm Size: 51 Weight: 805g Asymmetric tube sections The colour is the Team Edition red, pearl white and green as ridden in the Giro d'Italia. This is one of the few Italian bicycles that are still truly Italian. It can be put in a category with other completely handmade in Italy frames like Colnago's C59. This is so much better than a Bianchi OLTRE or a Pinarello DOGMA. This is a truly rare boutique bicycle for people who have a refined sense of taste. hand made italy Size: 51 Top tube effective 55.5 head tube 155 mm
