Hey, great bike! Gotta ask you, how are the 25's conti with that C50? They're clinchers right?

Thanx! ..and yes they`re clinchers(for better and saver braking in wet conditions and long decends).. I have had the WH7850 C50`s(drivin with 23&25mm conti`s) and I can tell the difference`s with these C50`s with the wider (23mm) rims. It`s true what you read on the net and in tests: more comfort, better cornering/more grip, better stability in crosswinds! about aero and more stiffness i`m not sensible enough i guess ;-) ...back to the Conti`s: 23mm are more directer feel(better cornering) and the 25mm give more comfort, with equal pressure. Out of saddle(for sprint or short steephill climbing) you notice some differences in the deformability of the tire(very noticeble by lower pressure offcourse). Also because this is an Alu frame that doesn`t absorbe vibrations as my carbon bike(scott cr1), the 25`s neutralize the diff a bit. (on the other hand, the canyon seatpost is way comfortable than the whole cr1 frame).
So in the end, for me the 25`s are the way to go: more comfort, more grip and rolling resistances-test show they`re faster! (I weigh 77kg, front pressure 6.5-7.5 bar, rear 7-8 bar, depending wetter- and roadconditions)

Wow ok! That's a lot of info, i appreciate it! I've been debating with myself, if I should get a 23mm or a 25mm wide rim, to run with 25mm wide tyres. Thank you!
