Carlton Pro-Am 1980

been using this as my regular ride for 7 years. Found this bike in a very sorry state. Previous owner loved this bike and modified it as he aged, when I picked it up it was configured with a 3 speed sturmey archer hub and gears, flat bars with the rear stays modified to fit the SA hub. Latterly neglected and left to rust. I stripped the bike to bare metal, and reconfigured it back to it's original racing geometry. While stripped I fitted rivetted bottle fixings to the downtube, treated the frame, primed it then resprayed in a Pearlescent white with blue flakes, appropriate decals sourced and fitted. Period correct components were sourced and used all round for the build
