How i wish i wasn't a tad low on money when you were selling this beauty :/

... i want, demand and need a t1!

I highly recommend it, great TRACK bike, always a blast! Not so much a good street ride. I had the pleasure of riding this while I was living in Tokyo. The roads are amazing there and I still felt the T1 was too harsh on the road.

Funny story. I tweaked my back riding my T1 the other day. Need to see a doctor. I doubt its the bike... i hope its not. Ive street ridden a few stiff track bikes and never had a problem. This bike was definitely built with Track only in mind.

... i'll keep that in mind, but wanted to ride it on the track only anyway...

Lovely T1, I'm surprised you were able to sit the rear wheel flush against the seat tube. I can't get it to sit there without the tires rubbing against the reinforced bb shell.

hei. cool bike! i am also going to buy a cervelo. Is it right that your rear wheel counts 24 spokes? I can not find them online.

Look up Reynolds Sdv66. You should be able to find a set. Good luck.

Good luck with the road bike, I understand the appeal. But like others I went back after trying, just a matter of preference, sweet build while you had it!

I've had several road bikes before. I'm always buying and selling my bikes man. "Love em and leave em" ;)

Damn, those wheels are so dope. I too sold my track bike (felt tk3) a couple years ago to try out the whole road bike thing. Hated every second of it and sold it. Have built two track bikes since and couldn't be happier. Hope you have better luck than I did.

really into this build and such an awesome frame. whats the weight of this guy?
Posted about 12 years ago
its advertised at around 1300g but Im reluctant to believe that. I can say its the stiffest frame Ive ever ridden though!

brakeless in tokyo? btw superb setups maayne!
Posted about 12 years ago
Yup, 3 out of 4 of my bikes are... Wouldn't have it any other way. Gracias

GAH! to you to. Nice bike! Ride it in the streets? Not afraid of the seatpost snapping?
Posted over 12 years ago
Sure do, but the streets here in Tokyo are incredibly smooth and well maintained!
thanks Amigo!

How do you like the Zoncolan Urban? I have been eyeing one for a little while now. I'm assuming the Urban is just a heavier and less expensive version of the other Zoncolan saddles. I don't care about weight though. I like my Flite but the Zoncolan looks like a mix between an Arione and a Flite which would be nice.

its sooooo comfortable, i chose it over the other zonoclans because it is Suede and it feels good on my ass. LOL

Very nice T1! And riding brakeless in Tokyo is a risk. You must control a track bike with ease..
Posted over 12 years ago
nice T1 u got there... how u survive riding brakeless in tokyo?
Posted over 12 years ago
Just running from the Koban (cops), it works. If you can't shake them on a track bike on Tokyo streets then you probably aren't doing it right ;)
Posted over 12 years ago
yeah mannn... :) maybe policeman in big city like tokyo cant handle to stop every single bike for further check. i got really big problem especially nearest koban here in yamaguchi. so i put on the rear brake to play safe. and front rake for escape
