After an old friend and former boss passed I was lucky enough to get one of his bikes and have been rebuilding it to my liking which I know he would probably love as well if he got to ride it. Basically just wanted wider tires so I went to 650b and swapped the handlebar and went from mechanical to wireless. Also added a carbon fork back to the bike since I had no plans on running a front rack as he did and didn't love the 4.0 Alloy fork. Sorry the photos are so tiny, not sure what happened there. I was talking with some former co-workers and they were saying that he would base a lot of what he did on his bike on what I was doing with mine though he would never directly come to me and ask he would usually ask one of our techs and go that way but good to know though he also did his own thing as well. Also the Garmin Varia light is absolutely fantastic, bright and has a warning light for cars or people coming up behind so it does a little pattern I may not add another rear light!

More Info:
There will possibly be another front light down the road and a new rack. I chose to get a dynamo so I could run the M99 front light and also have a radar rear light and a second really bright rear light and not overload the system. Kind of an older school approach to lighting but it also means I could add a charger or something later down the road, Cinq Plug 5 maybe?
