You've put together one of my favorite builds on PR. So in the pocket! I really dig the photos, too. Superb.

Thanks man! I definitely miss this one. I'd like to build another if I get the chance to.

Clean and simple, I love this build! Oh and how are you enjoying the 51/16 ratio?!
Posted over 11 years ago
I love it! It's good for keeping a high 20s speed and still not too bad on big hills. And thanks man!

nice bars ! was thinking of getting the same one's , how do you like them ?
Posted over 11 years ago
Absolutely awesome. Just as stiff as the nittos IMO and much more comfortable.

thanks for the feed back & a 0 setback seat post would look good !

Thanks man! That means a lot. I'm done with it as far as I know, so I'm real happy with it.

Nice Bolt!! we are running the same cockpit and seat post.
how are you liking your Fizik kurve saddle?
Posted over 11 years ago
I love it! I've been riding it for about a year now and can't get enough of it.
Posted over 11 years ago
Oh snap, 3T cockpit! You like the shallow drop bars?
Posted over 11 years ago
I like these ones! Most look kind of funny to me but these are so comfortable and theyre just as stiff as the nittos I had.

i would trade out your current stem and seat post for silver (or black) thompsons... but, this bike is rad regardless- so is the video. cheers :)

Open Pros always look so at home on Bolts. Perfect mix of black and silver components. Regards.

Haha, yeah... I don't know how it happened! I'm working on selling a few to get a proper road bike though! That will leave the count at seven ..hopefully.
Posted over 11 years ago
BTW, I'm diggin' the new cockpit! The same combo is what's planned for my road bike.
Posted over 11 years ago
Haha "seven-ish." But thanks man, I'm sure you'll be pleased!

Tax time has arrived so very soon :). Having a 2year old daughter makes bike build funds hard to come by!

I can imagine! Got a baby on the way myself. Super excited!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Congrats man! Hey make sure to gain some weight to before the baby gets there, that way you have an excuse to tell your lady you need to get out and ride haha

Didn't notice you sold the affinity. Can't wait to see your bolt! Im actually looking into buying wither a histogram, or bolt too.
Posted almost 12 years ago
You sold your FTP??... I am excited to see your mash :D
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yes I did. Desperately.. I hated that thing. Couldn't tell you why but it wasnt worth any money I put into it.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Iam sure you will love the MASH. My buddy has a FTP and I rode it once. It definitely feels uncomfortable.

Man this build is so nostalgic--in a very good way. I remember lusting over this build when it was first built, back a couple years ago (see my comment made over a year ago lol), and remembering that my next bike would be the exact replica. Long story short, life came about and had to sell my bike at the time and halted my cycling. Fast forward to present day, now that I'm progressing back into cycling, all I can say is this build once again is giving me the butterflies. From the perfect color combination to the pristine, simple curves--a build of perfection, in my honest opinion. I think when summer hits, I just might finally build an exact replica of this build. Again, well done.
