Paul, the bike uses columbus airplne tubings, the second coulumbus lightest (read sumwhere) and this tubes are bulit stiff meantly for track uses, and for this reason its built to last and for an evryday fun ride...and Ive cut the weight alot on lighter seapost, saddles, pedals, handlebar and wheels.
It will not be as comfy as carbon fibre frame but, it does justice, to ride it as fast, not meant for pro racing, but for a daily ride and mini races . Plus i love to feel the roads and the stiffness is exactly what I need for the road conditon in BN. Its only during afast sharp turn the handling is a bit off.. The stiffness maybe or just needs more practice on this bike.. Ive used a less stiff tubes to do turns and stay on track...
