IMO anatomic dropbar or riser is very comfortable for riding

OH BTW. Looking forward to picking up a clipless pedal set. I've set my eyes on time atac aliums but don't know what's some good mtb shoes. Any suggestions? price friendly is +1, but throw something @ me.

Go out and try some shoes out they are gonna be depending if its comfy for you. I recommend Specialized shoes.

Riser bars are comfy for short distance riding. Road bars give you about 3 to 4 hand positions.
