Super dope build. How's that enve fork?
Posted over 11 years ago
but my stem is a crap, flexes like a bitch on uphills. any recommendation?

That's your bars lol.. the Thomson X2 is one of the stiffest stems on the market.

I'm not sure where your flex is coming from. I've ridden a buddies bike that has mash bars and it felt stiff. Is that tri-spoke flexing? HEDs are stiff; I've never ridden a BLB though.

I was just looking at the pic with the enve fork again; it's your steer tube (not stem). Your stem is sitting WAY too high. You've got to trim that steer tube if you want to get rid of that flex. Good luck buddy.

yeah true, that my steerer tube is a 1.5 spacer too long, but the flex isn't coming from the steerer tube. The problem is that I'm supposed to use a 90mm stem, but my current stem is 110mm. I didn't cut my steerer tube that short to make up for that 2 cm misfit. BLB's r fine n stiff, it's either my bar or the stem cos it has like thousands of miles on it and it's pretty old

trimmed the fork and switched to a 90mm x2. fixed all the flex problem.

I like your setup!! is your bike small size(50)? would you recommend 50cm for 175cm person? how does it fit you?
